There is no transformation. Therefore, it is merely being skilled in skillful means. On the basis of no difference in inherent nature, there is also no separate category of afflictions that should be abandoned. What is meant by "great afflictions are not abandoned" is: Ignorance is the samaya of Akshobhya, because within the realm of phenomena, wisdom itself is not established, so it is one taste with non-knowing. Hatred is the samaya of Amoghasiddhi, the nature of subduing the cruel. Pride is the samaya of Ratnasambhava, the nature of enduring in the equality of dharmata. Desire is the samaya of Amitabha, the nature of dominating all dharmas. Jealousy is the samaya of Amoghasiddhi, being greatly attached to not realizing the equality of dharmas and seeing things as real, and the nature of being unbearable with great compassion towards the evil demons who conquer in the battlefield of samsara, and the power and fully assembled armies of Matamgarutra and others. These are the dharmas of the result, and because they are the nature of great qualities, they are the samaya of not abandoning. In short, the samaya of not abandoning is taught from the perspective of the three: the ground, the path, and the result. These three also have no difference in inherent nature. For example, the mirage of the morning and the mirage of midday have different appearances, but no difference in inherent nature. That inherent nature also has no difference in inherent nature in the state when the sun has not risen and when the sun has set. Because the mirage has no great elements as a basis, it does not exist as a substance as it appears, therefore there is no difference in inherent nature. Likewise, all afflictions also have no basis, so they do not exist as a substance as they appear. Because they do not exist as a substance, they are not to be taken or abandoned, therefore it is said to be the samaya of not abandoning. The statement that the five nectars should be accepted is also because all dharmas are the nature of equality, and there is no distinction between pure and impure, so they are not to be abandoned. As shown above, all appearances are the nature of the five Buddhas, so they should be accepted. There is no distinction between pure and impure.

Because ignorance becomes an oppression in experiencing the equality of Dharma, ascetic conduct becomes a cause for quickly attaining accomplishments, and the skillful means of the nature of things have the power to transform into the nectar of the world. Therefore, it becomes a substance accomplished by nature, like the flesh of the seventh birth. Furthermore, accomplishments arise from the characteristic of acting according to the teachings. Therefore, one should accept the five nectars, and even on the fasting days of the new and full moon and during the times of the year and month, one should not diminish the offering of nectar in the offerings. "Originally pure, equal, realized, and practiced." This means that once realization has merged into the expanse, even practice is unnecessary. If one practices without realization, then beings will be wasted. Therefore, one should combine it with the experience of realization and rely on it appropriately as its companion. For example, when learning swordsmanship, one first learns on wood, then on a lead sword, and then on the sword itself. Similarly, the initial yogi who practices equal conduct also learns gradually from easier tasks. To briefly explain the faults of breaking vows, it is said, "The five vows of guarding and accomplishing are the root; otherwise, one becomes without lineage," and so on. Among these, the root vows, if broken, will sever the lineage of Bodhi, so they are called the root. If the branch vows are broken, then the fruit will not quickly arise, so they are called the branches. Now, to explain the merits of vows, it is said, "By joining equality with equality, abiding in the vow of equality, one will attain the great perfection of equality; if broken, one is not a Buddha." This statement, by the force of explaining merits, also expresses the definitive meaning. Like this, the word Samaya: Sama is equality, and Ya is joining. Because this joins with the meaning of the equality of Dharma, it is called a vow. Or, Sama is equality or completeness, and Ya is attainment. Because this will attain the meaning of the great equality of Dharma and great perfection, it is called a vow. Therefore, abiding in such a state, one called "person" is a Buddha. Bhagavan is
