Ho! To the supreme deity of wisdom and awareness, with whom we have been connected since previous kalpas, in order to unite our own awareness with the deity, we offer flowers of five colors. Please accept them with joy in your heart. Vajra pushpe pratīccha ho (藏文,梵文天城体,vajra puṣpe pratīccha ho,金刚花,领受,霍) Thus, throw the flowers. When the flowers fall in the center, it is Buddha Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,Buddha heruka,佛,嘿汝嘎) Auspiciousness. Likewise, recognize the four directions, and the four corners as Guhya and so on. As it is said, all the deities of the mandala are none other than the essence of the great wisdom of the heart of the chief, the Great Glorious Manifest King. Therefore, your secret name is Buddha Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,Buddha heruka,佛,嘿汝嘎) Auspiciousness. The flowers offered in this way are a symbol of empowerment to meet the deity of self-awareness and wisdom. Together with the secret name, regard it as a sign of empowerment and bind it on the crown of your head. Ho! To all the wisdom deities, we offer the flowers of awareness. The immeasurable blessings of this will unite you with the deity of self-awareness, and you will attain the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind. May you be inseparable from the Great Glorious One! Pushpe grihna imam sattva maha bala (藏文,梵文天城体,puṣpe gṛhṇa imaṃ sattva mahā bāla,花,拿,此,众生,大,力) Thus, place the flower on the crown of the head. Pray for the opening of the eyes blinded by the obscuration of ignorance, and repeat this verse. Ho! The Sugata, the king of eye-doctors, in order to see Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,Heruka,嘿汝嘎) Auspiciousness, please remove the cataract of ignorance that has been obscuring since previous kalpas. Believe that the obscuration of innate ignorance is removed by the golden needle of wisdom and awareness. Hold the golden needle. Ho! Today, you, Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,Heruka,嘿汝嘎) Auspiciousness, open the eyes of supreme wisdom. The Sugata has removed the cataract, and supreme wisdom will be seen. Vajra jnana chakshu praveshaya phat (藏文,梵文天城体,vajra jñāna cakṣu praveśaya phaṭ,金刚,智慧,眼,进入,啪的) Thus, remove the blindfold. Encourage them to look at the mandala: Ho! Look, look, son of the lineage! If you see it, wisdom will be quickly realized. Here resides the supreme city of Heruka (藏文,梵文天城体,Heruka,嘿汝嘎) Auspiciousness. By seeing it for just a moment, you will purify the obscurations of many kalpas. As it is said, the activity of the ripening empowerment must also be bestowed based on the mandala. The mandala also has four types: the mandala of self-nature wisdom, the emanation of samadhi, the experience of awareness, and the support of the image. The first to be introduced is the mandala of the image. Thus, the supreme form is the manifestation of the play of the three bodies of wisdom.

Upon the mandala of oral transmission, blessed by the emanated mandala of Samadhi, atop Mount Meru, stacked with the five elements. On the base pervaded by Vajra dust, in the center surrounded by the eight great charnel grounds and the mandala of the nine branch vehicles. At the heart of the various Vajra seats, the manifest and complete root palace, a two-tiered square with four doors and eight gables, in the center of the eight-spoked wheel, above the eight chief animals, on the lotus sun and moon, the universal glory of existence and peace, the manifest and complete king, with a dark purplish-black body, twenty-one heads of blue, white, and red. The first two root hands hold a curved knife and skull, embracing the consort. The middle right and left hands gesture to support the pure and impure worlds. The last two hands hold the desire and form realms residing in the sphere of light drops. The remaining ten middle hands, the five on the right hold the five elements, the five on the left hold the emblems of the five families. The remaining fifty right hands hold curved knives, the fifty left hands hold skull cups filled with blood. Adorned with glory and charnel ground ornaments, seated in Vajra full lotus posture. The consort, Vajra Varahi, with nine heads and eighteen hands holding curved knives and skull cups, embracing. Outside of that, in the eight spokes of the wrathful wheel, are the eight wrathful deities of the tantras and agamas. Surrounding that, in the six realms, are the three hundred and sixty-nine attendants of the Great Glorious One's wisdom self-display, unmixed and complete, abiding like the sun and its rays, the Great Glorious Manifest and Complete King's self-nature wisdom mandala, with all that supports and is supported. This symbolic example mandala is no different. May you recognize that the signified meaning mandala, the primordial, indestructible three doors, have been self-arisen and spontaneously accomplished from the very beginning! Having thus entered the inner and outer mandalas. Having entered, in order to request the actual empowerment, offer a mandala and repeat this supplication: Hūṃ! (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Seed syllable) In this glorious, manifest, and complete mandala, I pray that you enter and ripen! Ripen, liberate, and bring to completion, I pray that you transport me to the space of non-abiding! Having supplicated three times, for the actual empowerment, the root tantra says: outer empowerment and inner empowerment.
