Namo (Homage). Holding the substitute substance, for those without ritual verses, Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं，Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Subjugation)! The weapon of the karmic messenger, blessed by the wisdom wrathful one, that reduces enemies and obstacles to ashes, empower the malevolent substitute. Recite fierce mantras and "Enemies and obstacles, Māraya Phaṭ (དགྲ་བགེགས་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཕཊ，Sanskrit Devanagari: मारय फट，Sanskrit Romanization: māraya phaṭ, Destroy the enemy)" to cast it. Then, for those cases where only a slight explanation of how to cast the substitute is needed, and there are no special recitation verses, the concise method of opening the substitute door and showing the way is: Hūṃ Hrīḥ (ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི，Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं ह्री，Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ hrīḥ, Subjugation Hrīḥ)! This powerful torma substitute that I have accomplished, I do not cast the substitute to the assembly that protects the directions. If it is cast in the ten directions, may the ten directional protectors be my army's helpers. Reduce the enemies and obstacles of the ten directions to dust. After the substitute moves, the substitute door, the substitute path is opened, strike the fierce torma substitute upon the enemies and obstacles. Gatekeepers, open the gate, do not hesitate. Passageway gods, do not worry about the narrowness of the passageway. The tall ones, shorten your legs; the short ones, lower your heads. The middle ones, gather the clothes around your bodies. Take this pure, blessed nectar of golden drink, today be the helpers of my army, subdue the hostile enemies and harmful demon armies. Thus, scatter and offer the golden drink to the ten directions. Visualize that malevolent torma substitute as the deities who are the actual manifestation of the mudra of the Great Glorious Blood-Drinker or the Great Black One, residing in the sky above the torma. Visualize the great torma transforming into a great rain of disease, weapons, and poison, falling upon the enemy's land or upon the enemies and obstacles. As it is cast, the arrogant army that carries out the work, filling the three thousand worlds, sets out in a vast procession. With the intention of destroying the enemies, obstacles, curses, and their armies, reducing them to ashes, engage in the act of casting. Holding the torma substitute with the mountain of fire, with a slightly joyful demeanor, Hūṃ Hrīḥ (ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི，Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं ह्री，Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ hrīḥ, Subjugation Hrīḥ)! Guru, yidam, dakini, oath-bound ones, inner and outer Dharma protectors, oath-holders, all hold unbearable, terrifying appearances. Emanation upon emanation, together with the messengers of demons, with wrathful, fierce, and terrifying faces opened, raining down unbearable, burning weapon hailstones, showing various forms, subduing malice through skillful means. The emanation army, together with the army of messengers, join as the supporting army of the yogi me. Remember the past vows and promises, and accomplish the entrusted tasks as promised. Descend from the ocean of oath-bound ones.

Arise! Rely on, do not be distracted, assembly of oath-bound ones! Throw the red torma at the hearts of enemies and obstacles! Reduce them and their retinues to ashes! Destroy the teachings and harm the bodies of the lamas! Oppose the teachings and harm all sentient beings! Enemies and obstacles who despise the yogi me! Oath-bound ones, please accomplish manifest activities! These fierce tormas of today, Throw them at the fortresses of oath-breakers and enemies! Throw them at the hearts of the hordes of harmful obstacles! May the seven generations be completely cut off! May they be uprooted and completely eradicated without remainder! Accomplish this task of protecting the teachings! Thus, or abbreviated: Hūṃ! Assembly of fierce messengers of action! Manifest in wrathful forms, repel enemies and obstacles! With weapons of blazing tormas, Eliminate unfavorable and harmful conditions from others! I pray that all are completely repelled! Again, very abbreviated: Abandoning the opening of the torma door, clarify the visualization. Hūṃ! All appearances, existence, gods, and demons, separate your bodies! All messengers who carry out the command! This powerful torma that I have accomplished! Like a heap of disease, weapons, and poison! Throw it at the hearts of enemies and obstacles, reduce them to ashes! Repel curses, black magic, breakage, decline, and fear! In any case, After the fierce mantra: May all curses, spells, and other obstacles that interrupt us, the teachers, disciples, and retinue, be repelled, Bhyo Bhyo (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) Zlog Zlog (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思)! Recite and bless in this way, and have the chief disciple or action vajra throw it. If elaborate, also do repulsion and clapping. Again, satisfy the joyful faces of the Three Roots and the Chege army, raise the victory banner as a sign of victory over all directions, and shower down a rain of auspicious flowers. May the yogi teachers and disciples be victorious in the battle against external, internal, and secret demonic enemies, and with joy, may they attain the actual accomplishments of action. By scattering flowers of victory songs and auspiciousness, may auspiciousness appear in all directions and times.
