And, all those who have the power to touch temporary and ultimate happiness should constantly strive to benefit sentient beings. Thus, this common vehicle accumulates merit for countless three kalpas, gradually ascending from higher to higher, and ultimately entering the state of Buddhahood, but without the ability to attain enlightenment in one lifetime. Therefore, in the two inner and outer tantric vehicles that surpass it, first, the outer tantric Kriyā (Sanskrit Devanagari: Kriyā, Sanskrit Romanization: Kriyā, meaning: Action), Ubhaya (Sanskrit Devanagari: Ubhaya, Sanskrit Romanization: Ubhaya, meaning: Both), and Yoga (Sanskrit Devanagari: Yoga, Sanskrit Romanization: Yoga, meaning: Union) are superior to the common vehicle by meditating on deities and reciting mantras. By practicing according to their respective treatises, one attains the ultimate result after kalpas, or sixteen lifetimes, or three lifetimes, etc., so it is a very swift path. Becoming its master, secondly, the inner tantric method lineage of the three Yogas, if practiced with diligence, even in one lifetime, one can completely attain enlightenment on a single seat. Entering this special instruction, first, rely on a qualified master and receive the four empowerments in sequence, and together with that, secondly, give instructions and make the generation and completion stages familiar, and third, after the ability arises, straighten the treatise of practice and bring the result of union and liberation to completion. As it is said, this is the time for the ripening empowerment. Enter according to their respective treatises. Furthermore, for the sake of all sentient beings pervading space, in the phrase "the nature of the four bodies and five wisdoms," transform it according to the situation, such as "the great union Vajradhara" or "the great compassion of the lord of the world, Avalokiteśvara" or "the all-pervading Samantabhadra Padmakara of the mandala sea," to attain the state. For this purpose, in the great mandala of so-and-so, request the ripening empowerment, and may I complete the profound yoga of the two stages of liberation, and generate the supreme bodhicitta, and the behavior and motivation of listening to the Dharma are completely pure, as it is said in the sutras and tantras, listen well after clarifying. Moreover, the three realms Samsara is like a pit of fire, and all who fall into it are burned. Afflictions are like the edge of a razor, and all who touch them are cut off. Desire

Suffering is like the leaf of a poisonous plant, causing great harm in the long run. The life of beings is also like flowing water or lightning, unstable and quickly perishing. Permanent happiness is the non-abiding nirvana, so that state must be pursued. The extraordinary means to attain it is the sacred Dharma, and in particular, the Vajrayana Secret Mantra, which can manifest unsurpassed enlightenment in one lifetime, must be entered. To that end, our teacher, endowed with immeasurable compassion and great skillful means, taught countless Dharma doors in accordance with the faculties of each disciple. All of these, if summarized from the perspective of abandoning and adopting, or merely from the perspective of view and conduct, can be summarized as the nine divisions from the three levels of vehicles, and the unique tenets of the Nyingma (Early Translation) school, which are gathered into four pitakas. The General Sutra, the Collected Intentions, states: "The definitive vehicle of ultimate meaning is definitively taught as three: the vehicle of arising and guiding, the vehicle of asceticism and mantra, and the vehicle of empowerment and means." Among them, the vehicle of arising and guiding has the three vehicles of Shravaka, Pratyekabuddha, and Bodhisattva. The vehicle of asceticism and mantra has the three: Kriya, Ubha, and Yoga. The vehicle of empowerment and means has the three: Maha, Anu, and Ati. If we further condense them, the All-Creating King states: "There are two types of vehicles: the vehicle of characteristic cause and the vehicle of result, the Vajra." Condensed into two. And the intention of the All-Creating, the great chariot, the Buddha Secret, states: "The Dharma spoken by the supreme Buddha abides in the four sections: Vinaya, Sutra, Abhidharma, and Vidyadhara." Divided into four pitakas, etc., which are extensively taught in the tantras and agamas. What is being discussed now is the Result Vajrayana, or the Vidyadhara Pitaka, which is superior in three aspects: the path is easy, the time is quick, and the means are skillful, from the Cause Characteristic Vehicle. Among them, from the outer tantra's three sections, the particularly superior inner tantra's generation, completion, and great perfection, which are the main topics, are divided into three: Mahayoga, which appears as the magical display of awareness; Anuyoga, which appears as the power of awareness; and Atiyoga, which appears as the self-appearance of awareness.
