Regarding her teachings: In order to attain the state of complete and perfect enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings equal to the extent of space, one should gradually enter the mandala of so-and-so, listen to and practice the profound and vast path of maturation and liberation. One should generate the supreme bodhicitta, free from afflictions. The conduct of listening to the Dharma should also be as stated in the Jataka tales: "Sit on a very low seat, cultivate the splendor of gentleness, gaze with eyes of joy and longing, as if drinking the nectar of words." Furthermore, "Having completely gathered all thoughts, listen with an extremely good intention. Do not forget that Vajrasattva and other Sugatas will bless your wisdom." Therefore, abandon the faults of the vessel. Pages 201 to 300. Listen well, guarding the three doors of body, speech, and mind. In this regard, the great teacher Padmasambhava said, "Difficult to find again and again, like the Udumbara flower; if found, meaningful like a wish-fulfilling jewel." As it is said, this precious human body that we have obtained by chance now is like the Udumbara flower, which is difficult to find again and again. Because it is a basis for abandoning all faults and accomplishing all qualities, it is meaningful if found, like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Because no other beings, such as gods, nagas, yakshas, etc., can adopt or reject faults and qualities other than this basis, it is the supreme of attainments. Thus, Chandragomin said, "Having obtained that which dries up the ocean of birth and death, and also sows the seeds of excellent enlightenment, the human state, which is even more virtuous than a wish-fulfilling jewel, who would make it fruitless? Having become an instrument to guide beings by relying on the path of omniscience, whatever human beings obtain with great mental strength, that path cannot be obtained by gods and nagas, asuras, garudas, vidyadharas, kinnaras, or mahoragas." Therefore, just as one must cross the river when there is a boat, at this time when one has obtained a perfect basis that possesses all the favorable conditions for practicing the path of liberation, one must strive for the meaningful activity of liberating oneself from samsara. The great teacher Padmasambhava said: Now, perfect.

At this time when all favorable conditions are complete, please transcend samsara with fierce diligence. As it is said. Even though this excellent support has been obtained, it is impermanent. As it is said in the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: "It is not reasonable to live happily, thinking that one will not die only today. The time when I will become nonexistent will surely come, and then I will surely be devoured by demons." As it is said. Our bodies are like bubbles, unstable and quickly destroyed. This lifespan is like a flash of lightning in the sky, and it is impossible to know when we will die. Seeing many instances of sudden death like a Rahu star colliding, one cannot even be sure that one will not die today. Therefore, do not postpone the task of accomplishing great things, but now yourselves must strive with diligence and steadfast perseverance in the holy Dharma. As it is said in the Siksa Samuccaya: "This will be done tomorrow, this will be done later, this will be done today, people think like this. Yama, holding a club in his hand, looks askance, his eyes red, and he emits a dry laugh of disgust." As it is said. Thus, when this rare and easily destroyed support is obtained, if one does not practice the holy Dharma to attain lasting happiness, then even if one strives to accomplish wealth, enjoyment, fame, etc., in this life, it is meaningless. All these seemingly temporary pleasures are like good dreams in each sleep, changing and passing away. No matter how great the happiness of this life may be, it will not follow one at the time of death, so it is of no benefit whatsoever. As it is said in the Jataka Tales: "Friends who part in an instant of enjoyment, wealth is like marrying a bride in a dream, the splendor of happiness is like the flame of a candle blown by the wind, the ways of existence are all like the dance of a madman." As it is said. However, the merit and demerit accumulated for the sake of the happiness of this life will never be wasted, but like body and shadow, they will follow after death and cannot be separated. If one has already committed evil deeds, one cannot abandon them even if one does not want to. If one does not create merit oneself, one cannot take it away. No matter where one is born in samsara, high or low, due to karma, Maitreya says: "Just as there is no fragrance in unclean mud, there is no happiness in the five realms of existence." As it is said. Therefore, one cannot escape the waves of suffering, and pain continues.
