Among those spoken extensively, this king or supreme of all protections, generally includes the Eight Great Mandalas of Accomplishment, and specifically, fierce Guru practice, Yamantaka, Hayagriva, Vajrapani, Phurba, and the three deities of kinship, etc. From various doors of Kama and Terma, countless protections of poison and blood have been bestowed. Among all of these, the most profound and ultimate is derived from the lineage of the Sky Iron Dragon Subduer and the lineage of the Wrathful Heart. It was extracted by the great Orgyen Vajradhara, who attained the immutable Vajra body and whose kindness is unparalleled. In the grove of Drakmar Ombü, it was bestowed upon the sovereign Trisong Detsen as a personal protection. A brief history of this is found in the text of the self-revealed treasure: 'To the master Padmasambhava, the sovereign king, etc., as it appears at the beginning of Bumthangma, extracted from the lineage of the Wrathful Heart,' etc. And, 'That which has become the supreme of protections,' etc., as it appears in the oral instructions of the treasure text, 'For one's own benefit, bury it as a treasure,' etc. As stated in the instructions, the great master and the sovereign king joined hands and extensively buried it as a profound treasure. When the time came to extract it, Rigdzin Chenpo Gyapurbu Gon invited it from the place of Mön Bumthang and Paro Kyichu Lhakhang. From then on, it was transmitted in succession, and the empowerment descended upon Rigdzin Chenpo Gökyi Demtruchen, Ngödrub Gyaltsen. It has come down to our guide, the Lord of the Wheel. The former was named Poison Blood Bumthangma because of the treasure site, and the latter was named Iron Tree Ma in praise of its power. The empowerment that combines the two treasures into one is known as the Bumchak Lhendril empowerment. When practicing the profound empowerment, first offer a mandala as the fee for listening, and pray with the strong conviction that the lama is the embodiment of the secret lord Vajra Tummo. Recite this following. As in the Raksha protection empowerment treasure text: Namo Master, etc., I beseech you to teach, recite three times. After praying in this way, as a response, blessings are bestowed and secrecy is enjoined. Ema, the supreme of all protections! This protection of poison blood substance is taught to you, the disciple who possesses the vessel. Do not teach it to others except for a few disciples who hold the vows.

Pierce the heart! The samaya is broken if not shown to all! Therefore, keep the secret! Having gone through the preliminary stages, in the actual empowerment, the deity visualization and, the recitation transmission, the empowerment of activity substances and protection, etc., arise in order. First, for the sake of the empowerment of deity visualization, contemplate as follows. Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Chinese literal meaning: self-nature) etc., as in self-generation, at the place of one's own mind, change it to the student's mind-essence, and after coming with miraculous powers, generate the intention of entering the student's body. Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ namo, Chinese literal meaning: Homage) etc., in the recitation mantra, add Jnana Vajra Aveshaya Ah Ah (Tibetan: ཛྙཱ་ན་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཝེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्ञान वज्र आवेशय आ आः, Sanskrit Romanization: jñāna vajra āveśaya ā āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Wisdom Vajra enter Ah Ah), recite it, and bestow blessings with incense and music. By doing so, the conceptualization of holding the body as ordinary ceases. Obtain the accomplishment of being non-dual with the body of the Secret Lord. Through the door of contemplating the body of the Wrathful Lord, etc., one has the power to accomplish limitless activities. Secondly, to accomplish the subsequent permission of speech, there are two parts. First, for the sake of receiving the transmission of subsequent recitation of speech, contemplate as follows. Both the teacher and the student are visualized as the fierce Great Secret Lord. From the mantra garland in the heart of the teacher, a second mantra garland arises. It enters from your mouths. Like the recitation contemplation of self-generation, etc., on the sun disc in the heart. Intend to act as the activity, and recite after the king of mantras. Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ namo buddha, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the Buddha) etc., three times. Secondly, the lineage of bestowing blessings is as follows: You all intend to offer a garland of flowers each to the teacher, and recite after this. Secret mantra has been bestowed upon me, please guide me. Three times. The flower offered in that way is blessed as the essence of the mantra, and tied on the crown of the student's head, intending that the power of the mantra is firm in the lineage and the power increases. The flower blessed by the mantra is wrapped around the crown three times, and this secret mantra is bestowed upon me, please guide me in this. Three times. By doing so, the habitual tendencies of holding the expression of speech as the arising and ceasing of ordinary sounds are destroyed. Obtain the accomplishment of being non-dual with the speech of the Secret Lord. One has the power to accomplish limitless activities without obstruction through the door of the recitation of sound-emptiness mantras like a stream of water.
