Begin by emanating from the right. Sing the song of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) melodiously and at length, filling all external appearances. Meditate that it enters from the left nostril, filling the inside of the body, so that both inside and outside appear as the nature of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), which is expansion. These need to be liberated in a state of no self-nature. Secondly, from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the heart, many dark blue, violent, rough, sharp, and swift Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)s like lightning pierce the objective appearances and the body, imagining them shattering and dissipating. By uttering the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) forcefully, if the experience of their lack of self-nature arises, then skill is perfected, and there is a need to liberate appearances into clear light and the aggregates into the rainbow body. Thirdly, on a support like a wooden stick in front, a garland of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)s emanated from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the heart winds around and encircles it. Again, destroy it and gather it inward, practicing this going and returning, and singing the song of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), making the mind workable, which is seeking pliancy, and there is a need to attain suppleness of mind. Fourthly, unite one's body, wind, and mind, visualizing them as a blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体: हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, entering the path in front like a demoness walking, becoming longer and longer, and then returning again, alternately practicing this going and returning, spontaneously cutting off conceptual thoughts, and generating the experience of bliss-clarity non-conceptuality, which is entering the path. The necessity of these is that, in general, they purify the sins of speech and pacify obstacles. In particular, they reverse the attachment to speech, so one does not fall into samsara. Ultimately, speech will indivisibly transform into the Sambhogakaya, the Vajra Enjoyment Body. Third, training the mind. From the Abhisamayalankara: Where does the mind first arise, where does it dwell in the middle, and where does it go in the end? By examining these three in this way, one trains the mind and understands the nature of the mind. Of these three, the first is: where does this so-called mind, which experiences all happiness and suffering, awareness, and movement, arise from among the internal and external environment, one's own body above and below, and appearance and emptiness? Observe and contemplate the seeker and the sought. The second is: where does the mind reside among the internal and external environment, the parts of the body, etc.? What shape, color, function, or essence represents it? Examine and contemplate. The third is: where does this mind, which seems to suddenly appear and then vanish, go? Through observation, it is discovered that it does not arise from anything among the internal and external environment, appearance and emptiness, existence and non-existence, nor does it reside anywhere, nor does it go anywhere, thereby recognizing that it is rootless and baseless.

In short, until the origin of the mind, the three realms, are definitively determined, one should diligently examine, analyze, and search. The necessity of these is: generally, to purify the sins of the mind and pacify obstacles; particularly, to reverse the mind's clinging, thereby not falling into samsara; ultimately, the mind becomes inseparable from the Vajra Dharmakaya. Second, settling into the natural state: without focusing on any object or searching for the mind, the body is relaxed, speech is unforced, the mind is without thought, abiding in its own nature, without discriminating between appearance, emptiness, what should be abandoned, and the characteristics of antidotes. Naturalness means unartificial, and settling means abiding in its own state. The necessity is: temporarily, the three doors settle into the natural state, the elements are not disturbed, diseases and calamities do not arise, and one abides in the natural state of meditation; ultimately, the clinging to the three doors is naturally liberated. Third, returning to the original state: the mind-essence that was previously settled into the natural state, abiding in clarity and non-conceptuality, is gradually guided by the demeanor and expressions of the peaceful Shravaka, the intermediate Bodhisattva, and the fierce Wrathful Deity. How the six consciousnesses arise, without acceptance or rejection, one abides in one's own position, so that the self-nature of conditioned appearances is clear without losing the state of non-conceptuality; and at the moment of appearance, one realizes that its self-nature is not established, appearance and emptiness are inseparable like the moon in water; and one learns to realize that self-arising, self-manifesting, free from elaboration, without acceptance or rejection, is like a wave dissolving into the ocean. The necessity is: temporarily, a special Samatha arises with the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, thereby suppressing gross suffering and afflictions; ultimately, realizing the meaning of Vipassana's original purity, thereby destroying gross afflictions and entering the correct path. Second, the main part has two sections: stating the summary in verses, and explaining its meaning in detail. The first is: "Through view, one ascertains, and from oneself, one obtains." As it is said, one ascertains through the view that cuts off the city, one experiences through the practice of uniting day and night, one enhances through the conduct of mastering appearances, and one obtains from oneself the fruit of effortless accomplishment. These are summarized into four, so these will be explained in order. The second has four sections: ascertaining through view, experiencing through practice, enhancing through conduct, and the fruit of effortless accomplishment.
