is victorious over death. (Thus it is said.) Second, regarding the intervals between practice sessions: From the intervals of practice, cultivate abiding mind, it is said, therefore, during the intervals of diligent wind yoga practice, perform the five-limb purification and other practices to purify the faults of the channels and winds, and search for the knots in the body, striking the key points, and during the bindu stage, perform drawing, reversing, and scattering. And at all times, also practice the wheel methods for clearing obstacles and enhancing benefits. Finally, by relaxing the three doors, channel disturbances and wind disturbances will naturally be purified. And in the intervals, enhance benefits with vajra recitation and cultivate abiding mind. In general, vajra recitation is important at all times, so let me say a little about its meaning. In Heruka Galpo it says: The recitation that is carried on the path is, in entering, abiding, and rising, by meditating completely on the six branches, vajra recitation is carried on the path. The six branches mentioned are the same in meaning as the six yogas mentioned in the explanatory tantra Vajramala and others, so from that, the first is: By determining the manner of movement, until one is able to count all twenty-one thousand six hundred, holding the mind on counting the numbers is the yoga of counting. Second, following is that in each of the eight periods of time, two thousand seven hundred move, and also knowing that with each arising of a wind, the other four elements also follow, this is very clear. Third, the yoga of abiding is knowing separately the lines of exhalation and inhalation, that this is moving from this and this chakra, that is, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, the mind is focused on the form of a lump. Fourth, the yoga of realization is that the twenty winds of the five elements of the four chakras transform the one hundred and eight winds of conceptualization, and also knowing the characteristics of the winds transformed by the ten aggregates of the left and right chakras. Therefore, whatever conceptual thought arises, one knows, and as soon as those thoughts arise, they become non-conceptual, so one also knows the way in which non-conceptual wisdom arises, that is, one is able to distinguish the faults and merits of conceptual and non-conceptual thought. Fifth, the yoga of transformation is that the previous conceptual thought, which was moving strongly, reverses from that, and transforms the one hundred and eight winds of conceptualization into winds free from conceptualization.

Even though a fool abides solely in non-conceptual samadhi, when it moves in the chakras, it brings the shadow of afflictions, therefore it is called affliction or conventional. When it ceases and dissolves into the indestructible, it is called wisdom and ultimate truth. Again, rising from that, moving in the chakras, etc., it operates as before. Sixth, the yoga of complete purification is, even abandoning the distinction of whether the air moves or does not move in the chakras, because it always dissolves into the indestructible, therefore abiding in the suchness of the air, having the nature of luminosity, emptiness, and bliss, in which all the airs dissolve into the clear light. Thus, regarding how to perform the six-limbed Vajra recitation, in the "Prophecy of Intent" it says, "With recitation and focus, becoming symbolic and ultimate." Thus, four types of Vajra recitation are spoken of. Although there are many ways to explain its meaning, according to the usual practice, reciting the three syllables in the mouth is Vajra recitation with recitation. Contemplating the shape and color of the three letters is Vajra recitation with focus. Believing that the rising, entering, and abiding of the air are the sounds of the three syllables, thereby knowing that the air and mantra are inseparable and reciting is Vajra recitation that becomes symbolic. By understanding that the running, coming, and abiding of the air are inseparable from emptiness, form, and the Great Seal, thereby realizing that all nominal statements are like illusions, this is considered the ultimate Vajra recitation. Third, the practice of bindu is divided into two: the main point of the path and the branch of the path. First, there are two: explaining the heat and bliss of non-conceptual tummo, and summarizing the above meanings by combining them with the four practices of approaching, accomplishing, etc. First is: "From that, send it into space." Thus it is said. Having become accustomed to those nadi-prana yogas, about four fingers below the navel, the wheel of manifestation, visualize the unhidden self-nature of Prajnaparamita Yogini, that is, the fire of tummo wisdom, the shape of the letter "A" (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: none), the color red, the touch hot, the essence emptiness, the nature of experiencing bliss. And at the upper end of the central channel, clearly visualize the syllable "Hum" (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) actually existing or the bindu having four characteristics of brightness, radiance, oiliness, and cohesion. By urging with the vase breath possessing four combinations, the flame gradually lengthens and burns from about four fingers. Entering the channel of the central channel, the combination of nadi and bindu takes place in the four chakras such as the navel.
