The lifespan thrown by (karma) is called "life" as long as it lasts; from the meaning of the sound of Prana (Tibetan: པྲཱ་ཎ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: प्राण, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: prāṇa, literal Chinese meaning: breath) running extremely, the time of being alive also continues, which is called "vitality". There is no difference between the two in essence, but only a difference in the form of the opposite (lDog chas) in the relationship between the support and the supported. The sound of Kaya (Tibetan: ཀཱ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: काय, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: kāya, literal Chinese meaning: body) has the meaning of accumulation, aggregate, place, etc., so the aggregate accumulated by the elements becomes the place of speech and mind, which is called "body". Third, the characteristics of life and vitality are: using the period of time that lasts as long as it is thrown by the ripening of karma; the characteristic of the body is that it is the object on which the three of mind, intention, and consciousness depend. Fourth, it is said in the tantra: "The unchanging, constant, and innate life, the life of the bindu that decays and changes, the life of vitality that appears as sudden." It is divided into three types. The body is the different support of the three realms and the six paths. Fifth, the first meaning of the scripture just quoted is: In the continuum of all sentient beings, the nature of immutability, constancy, purity, bliss, and true self in the three times, the indestructible bindu of Dharmata (chos nyid) residing as nature or innate is the basis for achieving immortal and constant life; and its own radiance (rang mdangs), the two seminal drops (dPyid thig) running up and down the central channel, and the twelve essences and twenty-four impurities, etc. associated with the master of the bindu of the six chakras flow. These are also associated with wisdom, changing in the rhythm of the four joys in the four chakras; associated with Alaya consciousness, transforming into the nature of nutrition or key points in the body, which is called the life-force place (bla gnas). As long as these do not move from their own position and their strength does not weaken, life will become stable, so the life of the bindu is the main object to be practiced. When the root pulse of the body is initially formed, it appears as sudden dependent origination, and the substantial coarse matter, including the sensory support and internal organs, is completely grasped by Alaya consciousness and becomes inseparable nutrition, so the former is the relationship between the support and the supported, and the life of the root of vitality is a special object to be practiced. Sixth, the connection of the first practice is: the nature of Dharmata is originally accomplished as immutable, in order to clear away the defilements of sudden changes that appear as if unchanged, so that the reality can be revealed.

The method of practice is to abide in the Samadhi that is related to the three doors of liberation of the great wisdom nectar that transcends the world. The act of transference in the Bardo is the wind-mind, therefore, with profound skillful means, bind these actions into the unpolluted, and temporarily rely on the special nectar essence of the skillful means, so that the essence of the conventional support increases. Because of this, the wisdom of great bliss, which is the support, will increase. Third, it is mainly said that one should go and return according to the karma of the present life, therefore, one should abandon killing, and as exemplified by ransoming life, abandon non-merit and accumulate as much merit as possible. With the skillful means of mantra, through the rituals of Vajra longevity practice, etc., the pillar of life is stabilized, and based on this, life is made to last long. Fourth, the prophecy of the place is twofold: showing the necessity, and explaining the actual prophecy of the place. The first is: It is said, "The prophecy of the completion of compassion." That is, the appearance of this life disappears, separated from the support of matter, the consciousness is driven by the wind of karma, accompanied by the terrifying four sounds, the terrifying three cliffs, and other inverted illusions, wandering without refuge or protection, becoming the object of compassion. The beings of the intermediate state of existence, who possess the six uncertain signs, are as easy to control as horses controlled by reins. Therefore, it arises from the wonderful secret treasury of the Buddhas, and with the compassion of the ritual and profound Samadhi, it protects from the birthplaces of the evil realms, and with skillful means, quickly attains liberation and peace. Gradually leading and elevating from the six realms, The prophecy of the place, the rope of compassion, which perfects the five paths on one seat, is as follows. Here, too, a little digression is mentioned. The nature of the general Bardo is: From the emptiness of the basic sphere, the door of spontaneous manifestation arises, and before it is perfected in the sphere of manifestation, it is the mind with its seeds. Among them, the part where the basic appearance appears as wisdom is called the pure Dharmata Bardo; the phenomena included in the six realms of illusion are called the impure illusory Bardo. In particular, the Sridpa Bardo is the emanation body born from habitual patterns from the dissolution of the spontaneous appearance until the formation of the next life.
