The Kadampa tradition of Atisha's Bodhipath, the common aspects of the sutras such as the Mahayana Yoga of Aro and Rongzom Pandita, and the uncommon aspects of the teachings and treasures such as the Padma Lamrim and the Precious Lamp, are numerous. Here, in particular, is the Dharma called "Essence of Wisdom, the Noble Path," whose name was not given by the fabrication of individual minds, but arose as the self-sounding vajra from the secret treasury of the great wisdom of the mind-space of Samantabhadra Padmasambhava himself, inseparable from the vajra words of the tantras such as the Guhyagarbha and Hevajra. If it were given by the fabrication of individual minds, there would be many ways of establishing names from the aspects of metaphor, meaning, place, and occasion. But here, as Dharmakirti said, "Wisdom is non-dual, the Tathagata is that wisdom, because it is the means of accomplishment and has it, it is also taught in the scriptures and the path." It appears as the self-sounding wisdom that connects the scriptures and the path. The necessity of the arising of the name is that, for those of superior faculties, the meaning of the scriptures is complete within the name, so that they can easily understand all the meanings from beginning to end; for those of intermediate faculties, they can also gain a general understanding of the meaning of the structure of the scriptures; and for those of inferior faculties, they will also be happy to quickly enter into the scriptures that have the meaning of the name. Second, there are two parts to explaining the symbols and prostrations: the reason for the symbolic writing and the meaning of the prostrations. First, it is said in the secret tantras, "The dakini relies on symbols, she is skilled in symbols and the understanding of symbols, she combines the essence of meaning with symbols, the dakini is the life of symbols." As it is said, the dakini script that relies on symbols cannot be unlocked by anyone other than those who have a connection with it. Therefore, most of the profound Dharma that is hidden as treasure is sealed with symbolic writing. These Dharmas were taken from the secret treasury of the dakinis, so they are not the common practice of the Indian and Tibetan scholars and siddhas. As it is said, "The treasure text is the incarnate body, the sound and words are also speech," the treasure text is the incarnate body, the vajra body in all its forms, and only those who have the blessing and connection from it can, in the place, time, and profound aspiration

In order to symbolically reveal and ascertain the meaning of the symbolic interdependence. At the beginning of the volume, the author arranged seven symbolic letters. This has three purposes: Because of direct contact with the seal of the second Buddha of Oddiyana, it shows that it has not been interrupted by the transmission of ordinary people, and the source is reliable; By translating the secret symbols of the dakini, without modifying the symbols, without confusing the words, and without misunderstanding the meaning, it shows that the teaching is profound and the blessing is powerful; No matter how clever those who are not qualified are, they cannot conduct even a one-sided study like a blind person examining an elephant, so that people believe that the treasure master himself is beyond the scope of ordinary people's behavior. The second point is: I prostrate from the Three Roots! Here it says, who made the prostration? It was made by Yeshe Tsogyal, the compiler of the Great Secret Teachings, the Wisdom Dakini. Where did you prostrate? At the root of blessing, the Lama; the root of accomplishment, the Yidam; the root of activity, the Dakini, the embodiment of all gatherings; the master Padmakara, who manifested the mandala illusion, whose secret name is known as Vajra Dragpo Tsal, who showed the wrathful form with compassion. For what purpose? In general, all those who enter the Vajrayana path depend on the Lama for all accomplishments, so it is necessary to remember him in all activities and yogas. For the time being, it is to ensure that there are no obstacles in writing the text, that blessings can enter, and that the later lecturers and practitioners are also taught this method incidentally. How to prostrate? Literally, prostrate with the symbols of the three doors with great respect; in the ultimate sense, prostrate with the view of equality of means and wisdom, realizing the ultimate truth. The meaning of the Three Roots mentioned here is: For example, trees and crops, etc., whose cause or basis of origin is called the root. As it says in the treasure texts: The root of blessing is the Lama; the source of accomplishment is the Yidam deity; the excellent blessing is the Dakini. Therefore, the particularly excellent refuge in Vajrayana is the Three Roots, that is, the Lama's body is the Sangha, the speech is the Dharma, and the mind is the Buddha. The Yidam, whether showing peaceful, loving, or wrathful forms, is the nature of the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya of the Buddha. Its mantra is the common and uncommon Dharma, the Dakini.
