As it is said, "This is the supreme conduct of Bodhisattvas," the very wisdom of ultimate meaning abides as the essential Dharma in all of samsara and nirvana. Lord Maitreya said, "Suchness is in all, without distinction, yet purified. Therefore, it is the Tathagata-garbha, all beings possess that nature." Also, as it is said in the Lamp Illuminating Treatise, "The abode of all the victorious ones is all sentient beings, because it is the Tathagata-garbha." As it is said, the essence of wisdom, which is the basis for purifying defilements, represents the state of abiding of the Sugata-garbha. According to the unique Maha Yoga, it is the great Dharmakaya of bliss, inseparable from the two truths. According to Anu Yoga, it is the mandala of the great bliss Bodhicitta, inseparable from the expanse and wisdom, which abides as its own nature from the beginning. According to the Dzogchen system, it is the original purity of the primordial ground, beyond words, thoughts, and expressions, transcending the limits of elaboration. It possesses the three wisdoms and is the common ground for both delusion and liberation. From the vastness of the expanse, the appearance of external clarity arises, and even when samsara and nirvana are separated, it abides as the temporary basis for sentient beings in the manner of an essence. As it is said in the Six Spaces, "The nature of reality, free from elaboration, is originally pure. The self-nature is purely the basis of the essence." Thus, it symbolizes the original basis of original purity, and these states of abiding of the basis are also taught in this text. When combined with the path, wisdom is prajna, and essence comes from the root word sara, which is the root or place from which many things emanate. From the accumulation of skillful means and merit, many excellent fruits, both temporary and ultimate, arise. The two, skillful means and wisdom, according to the common path, are merit and wisdom; according to the uncommon path, they are the generation stage and the completion stage; according to the special path, they are bliss and emptiness, the expanse and awareness, etc., and are related to all the meanings of the two aspects of the path. To achieve Buddhahood, these two must be integrated without neglecting either one. As it is said in the Condensed Meaning of the Sutras, Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment, "Wisdom without skillful means and skillful means without wisdom are both said to be bonds. Therefore, both should not be abandoned." Thus, in order to teach the expanded stages of the path of integration, it is taught in this text. From the text itself: "The path of the essence of wisdom, the general integration of all."

Furthermore, in relation to the result, in the common aspect, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The distinctions of the bodies of the Buddhas are, the self-nature, enjoyment, and complete, and the other is the emanation body, the first two are the basis." As it is said, the object of pervasion is the form body that arises distinctly from the appearance of wisdom for the sake of others. The pervading subject is the Dharma body, the essence of ultimate reality for one's own sake, which are the two bodies to be attained. And the qualities of being free from inherent existence, where wisdom with two purities is manifested. The power of expansion, the qualities of maturation that clarify the power of essence, are the two qualities of freedom and maturation. Wisdom is the meaning of pervading all, and essence is the meaning of being constant because it is inexhaustible and unchangeable, thus showing the activities of constancy and pervasion. In the uncommon aspect, the realm of wisdom, the essence of awareness, that is, the union of realm and awareness without separation, or having the essence of wisdom, thus showing the meaning of body and union. Awareness is inherently like the sun, the spontaneously accomplished abiding in the clarity of knowing and awareness, the realization of which manifests, so that it is separated from the clouds of sudden obscurations, and the immaculate intention of wisdom expands into the mandala of all qualities without exception. Because it abides in the essence of all bodies, body and wisdom are inseparable. In Self-Arising it says: "Different nature has no change, therefore it is the wisdom of the five bodies, body and wisdom are inseparable, it abides in the meaning as such." Thus. Therefore, the basis is the body, the dependent is wisdom, and by the force of actually showing these, the activity of benefiting beings is also shown. As it appears in the text: "May the essence of wisdom be attained in this life!" Thus it appears. Third, examining the conclusion slightly, here the instruction of the oral teachings, for beginners, encouraging the mind towards Dharma, and the extensive exhortation in words, the profound exhortation in meaning, the practical exhortation in essential points, the introduction exhortation in hand-holding, and so on, are many. Here, the profound, extensive, practical, essential, and direct pointing out are exhorted. As the text says: "In the past, the profound and vast, the teachings of hundreds of millions of oral instructions, the essence of all that has been spoken, the cause and effect path are completely perfect, the essence that is difficult to arise without having arisen." And so on, as indicated by repeated praise. Also, regarding the stages of the path.
