The meditation on Prajñāpāramitā is actually not meditating on any dharma. As both the Sutras and the Ornament agree: There is nothing to be revealed here, nor is there anything to be established. Look at reality as it is, and seeing it as it is, one is liberated. Thus, always abide in equanimity. In the post-meditation period, the *Compendium* says: "I have abided or arisen," there is no prideful thought. Why is that? Because the nature of all dharmas is fully known. As it is said, with the wisdom that knows all dharmas as illusory, accumulate as much merit as possible, and when this reaches the ultimate state of familiarity, stability in samādhi will be attained. Third, indicating its result and summarizing: "Thoughts subside and abide in the ground." As it is said, when meditation becomes familiar, all the noise of conceptualization subsides, and one can abide in the nature as long as one wishes, thus making body and mind workable. The essence of true wisdom is clearly seen and realized in a way that is invisible. As the *Compendium* says: "Beings often say they see the sky, but how does one see the sky? Consider this. Thus, the Tathāgata also showed the seeing of dharma." And the *Madhyamaka True Small Treatise* says: "Not seeing is seeing, as stated in the extremely profound Sutra." Thus, by the path of the union of skillful means and wisdom, the two obscurations are uprooted, and the temporary and ultimate qualities such as the five eyes, the six superknowledges, the unfailing dhāraṇī, the unobstructed eloquence, the magical powers of controlling wind and mind, and the samādhi of the flow of dharma are gradually accomplished. The five paths and the ten bhūmis are traversed in sequence, and their qualities are attained. Among these, first, from the generation of bodhicitta, until the wisdom of heat is attained, effort is made in the two accumulations of generosity, etc., and the accumulation of virtuous accumulations in accordance with liberation is the path of accumulation. Among these three, in the small path of accumulation, the four mindfulnesses are mainly meditated upon; in the intermediate path of accumulation, the four right abandonments are mainly meditated upon; and in the great path of accumulation, the four legs of magical power are mainly meditated upon. When the path of accumulation reaches its peak, the worldly wisdom arising from meditation, which is in accordance with the realization of the four truths, arises, namely, the four limbs of application.
