One. Thumi Sambhota was the inner minister of Dharma King Songtsen Gampo, an emanation of Manjushri. After going to India, he learned the places of knowledge such as grammar from the Pundits. Because he was the first to create the Tibetan script and terms, as well as reading, etc., his kindness and wonder to Tibet are so great that it seems that no one can match him. The great translator Vairotsana is, in the history of portraits, Thangkas, and oral transmission Vajra Bridge, there are various inconsistencies, but it is said that the portrait is not oral, so it needs to be corrected, therefore, at the confluence of Nyangchu and Tsangchu, he was born as the son of father Gor Dorje Gyalpo and mother Dronkyi, and was named Ganjak Thangdar. It is said that Pagor He Dod was his uncle, and he was raised by him after his father passed away. At the age of eight, he came riding on the sun, and without learning, he mastered three hundred and sixty translations, etc., showing miraculous signs. When Dharma King Trisong Detsen summoned translators to translate Buddhist scriptures, Guru Rinpoche prophesied that the reincarnation of Kungawo was Vairo and Kagok, etc., so he summoned them to his presence and studied grammar, etc. He was ordained by Khenchen Bodhisattva and was one of the first seven Tibetans to be ordained, and was also given the name Vairotsana Rakshita. At the age of fifteen, the king heard that there was a Dharma in India that transcended cause and effect, so he sent Vairo, Tsangngon, and Lekdrub to search for it. After enduring sixteen great difficulties that threatened his life, he arrived in India. He inquired who was a wise and accomplished person in the teachings of secret mantras, and it was unanimously agreed that the teacher Shri Singha, who lived in the Dahena temple, was a collection of wise and accomplished people, so he searched for and arrived there by various means, and the water-fetching yogini helped him. After meeting the teacher, he offered a golden mandala and requested the Atiyoga of effortless attainment of enlightenment in this very life. Before that, many omens of losing the effortless Dharma had appeared in Tibet, so it was forbidden for anyone to impart the secret mantra. Except for the uncommon tantras and secret mantras that reside in the hearts of the Panditas and Siddhas, the common tantras

Now, because the Pandit and the king made an agreement under the Vajra Throne to transmit the Mind Section and the Instruction Section in a secret way, (Padmasambhava) said that if it was not kept very secret, there would be a risk to life. Therefore, during the day, he listened to the teachings of cause and effect from the Pandits, and at night, he made connections in a way that others could not detect, and gradually transmitted the categories of the Mind Section and the Instruction Section. He also met the wisdom body of the master Garab Dorje, and received the meaning transmission of the sixty-four hundred thousand tantras of the Great Perfection, and realization and liberation occurred simultaneously. After that, he traveled to Tibet by means of swift feet, and during the day he commonly taught the Dharma of cause and effect, and at night he secretly taught the king the categories of the Great Perfection. He translated the five early translated Mind Sections. Because the Indians were jealous that the key instructions had been lost to Tibet, and because of the influence of the queen and ministers who were malicious towards the Dharma, the queen had to go to Tsawarong. There, at the Brak Lha Gönpo Monastery, he guided Yudra Nyingpo and many other beings, leading them to maturity and liberation. In Tsawarong Tagtse Khar, he taught the Great Perfection to Sangton Yeshe Lama. At Drakmar Gön Dzong in Dongkhud Rong, he gave the Oral Transmission Vajra Bridge to Pang Sangye Gönpo. Returning to Tibet, he met with Panchen Vimalamitra. The king, ministers, subjects, and entourage of Tibet offered unimaginable offerings, praises, services, and respect with great reverence in remembrance of his qualities. He gave the Great Perfection to Nyak Jñanakumara and Li-za Tsultrim Drönma, and together with the previous three, they are known as the Five Successive Ones. He served as the great editor who translated all the Dharma, and he alone translated the categories of the Great Perfection. At that time, in order to distinguish the characteristics of the many translators gathered, the Indian Sanskrit original of the Great Commentary on the Abhidharma, which was very difficult to translate, was divided into sections and translated, and Vairotsana translated it. It is said that the others were unable to complete the translation. Finally, he bestowed many instructions and testaments to his entourage. He went to the top of the mountain of Drak Yangdzong, and passed away into a mass of light, so even today one can still visit the cave where Vairotsana passed away into a light body. And, from the substitute image, he went to Khotan together with Li-za Tsultrim Drönma. He remained in contemplation for a long time.
