Gathered monks, offered tea and meals, etc., and did whatever was needed, and then returned to the monastery to attend the annual vase practice ceremony. After returning, many military-related rituals were performed in succession. In the fifth month, together with the esteemed Lama at Uche Tser, we performed mountain worship and strict blessings. At first, there was a great wind, and hail and lightning fell from all four directions, which was very violent, and finally it became very calm. In the second half of the month, Lhasa New Temple performed the Kagyed Wrathful Deities' exorcism ritual, and a very large spectacle was seen with the naked eye when the exorcism was performed. Even during the time of Kingnak, there were signs in other people's dreams that the enemy forces would surely be defeated. In the sixth month, the messenger arrived again, so I went to the great monastery, and performed obstacle removal and longevity practices for Sazang (landowner), each for seven days, and performed ablutions and a hundred longevity empowerments. Incidentally, the wishes of many nobles were fulfilled, and then I returned to my residence. This year, about ten monks also observed the summer retreat in a secluded place. In August, Arrow Commander Trimon, with his army, completely destroyed the official's castle and Dzong in Nyarong. The great Sazang (landowner) also went to Horkok. The prince and queen of Derge (now Dege County, Sichuan) and the nephew, etc., took the lead and came up. Each fulfilled their wishes and offered empowerments and gifts. Sazang (landowner) said that it was necessary to perform the government's Tenrim Mahakala war god Torma, so I did a recitation of the four-armed Mahakala. In September, all the equipment was ready. Khyentse Lama Dondan also came, so many monks and disciples together performed the Mahakala war god Torma, and the process went very smoothly. Dondan asked the nephew Rinpoche for many empowerments and transmissions that he had not received before. Guidance on retreat rooms, etc.
