O, Black Great Lord and Lady, with the power of compassion, completely destroy obstacles, and be a good helper with perfect altruism. Because ordinary beings are dominated by disturbing emotions and delusions, and continuously experience the illusion of samsara, therefore, the desire to even just touch a bit of the fragrance of the holy one's good biography, to be associated with it, has been exhausted, which is really frustrating. From beginningless time, being familiar with deep-seated habits, due to long-term habit and weak antidotal power, I have fallen into the net of the three doors of body, speech, and mind being confused, how can I turn this amazing story into a wonderful drama? However, due to past karma and present conditions, I have not been able to practice wholeheartedly, but if I record the history related to this, it will be helpful to future generations, the Vajra Lama approved of this, and those disciples with wisdom, compassion, and devotion repeatedly urged me, therefore, I record these various fragments that are enough to make people laugh, as precious treasures. In general, the so-called biography is derived from the Sanskrit word "Bimoksha", which means complete liberation or complete release. That is to say, those who have excellent faith and complete purity, obtain complete liberation from the cycle of bad destinies; those who have medium renunciation and complete purity, obtain complete liberation from the ocean of samsara; those who have superior altruism and complete purity, obtain complete liberation from the bondage of the two extremes of existence and peace, it tells such a history. In short, biography refers to the extraordinary history that can completely liberate oneself from suffering and the cause of suffering, and liberate others from bondage. The necessity of telling these biographies is that it can generate one or all of the three kinds of faith in the minds of those who see and hear, and the arising of these faiths can awaken the inner potential and plant the seeds of liberation. Therefore, the sutra says, "Faith is the door to manifesting all the Buddha's teachings." and "Ananda, strive for faith! This is the prayer made by the Tathagata." That is the meaning. In addition, the biographies of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravaka Sangha, and the wise men, accomplished ones, and qualified spiritual friends of India and Tibet, are difficult for even the unfortunate to hear, and if they can hear, they can bring temporary and long-term benefits and happiness.
