A radiant nun appeared vividly. I dreamt that she was sitting on a slightly tilted throne in a dark room. There had been many omens of death before, and there were even more omens of death during this time. I repeatedly dreamt of many women and gatherings, which almost manifested as inauspicious signs, so I performed a death ransom ritual. On the 29th of the ninth month of the Iron Ox year, my uncle suddenly passed away. In the first month of the Water Rabbit year (1963), to fulfill his wishes, I held a seven-day Guru Gongdü (Guru's Mind Accomplishment) Tsok offering. At this time, the offerings were merely symbolic, as I was financially poor. Later, in front of Kyabje (Lord of Refuge), I also completed a week-long recitation ritual. During the generation of Bodhicitta, Vajrasattva, Mandala, and other rituals, I repeatedly had dreams that conformed to the scriptures. During the practice of Guru Yoga and the Seven-Line Prayer, my mind's experience slightly improved. About two summers ago, I had helped proofread the original manuscripts of "Union of Skillful Means and Wisdom" and the "Torma Throwing" ritual many times. Kyabje (Lord of Refuge) said this was a reward and gave me about five khals (a unit of weight) of butter. From that time on, for several years, thanks to the support of Ja Zhacang (a place name) providing clothes and other necessities, I barely managed to make a living. It was said that the monastery had bestowed monastic positions and shares for the Sangha, but I did not ask for any, so I had less karmic obscurations in this regard. An earthquake struck my homeland, and all the houses and property were completely destroyed. My old mother also returned, and I recited the six-syllable mantra and lived with her. During the practice of Guru Yoga, it seemed to be one night, Chakme Choktrul Tenzin Trinley quickly gave me the complete empowerment and transmission of the Kagyu lineage. Afterwards, I went to the Lingtse Nine-Story Retreat House and dreamt that the main deities and retinue of the Kagyu mandala appeared as if they were real, and in particular, the mandala of Padmasambhava's speech and its protectors were very clear. This summer, Lama Karma Norbu came. He bestowed upon me the empowerment of the Shangpa Kagyu Chakrasamvara Five Deities, and the blessings of the Six Dharmas from his own manuscripts, as well as the oral transmission of Gonpo Barché Kunsel (Mahakala Who Removes All Obstacles), and the extensive, intermediate, and concise explanations and supplements of the Six Dharmas, the Mahamudra Ga'u Ma, the Stages of the Path for the Three Types of Individuals, and the detailed explanations of the Seven Points of Mind Training from the manuscripts of Jetsun Rinpoche.
