It is said that one has escaped from evil deeds. Jomo asked the master: If one practices in this way, how does one attain Buddhahood? The master said: By meditating on the meaning of Dharmata, without any conceptualization, the cause of samsara, conceptual thought, gradually subsides and diminishes, and non-conceptual wisdom is spontaneously accomplished. That wisdom also possesses peace and a completely pure realm of activity, as well as the qualities of the Buddha, such as the three bodies, which arise naturally like light emanating from the sun. Thus, when the meaning is integrated into the heart, although the body remains in the human realm, the mind abides in the realm of the Buddha. By practicing in this order, there is no doubt that one will attain Buddhahood in the bardo. Moreover, in one's own appearance, the Dharmakaya is not established in any way, like the sky. In the appearance of others, the Sambhogakaya is like the sun, and the Nirmanakaya is like rays of light, benefiting sentient beings. Jomo asked the master: How should a person of intermediate ability practice? The master said: When a person of intermediate ability is certain that all dharmas are their own mind, they should entrust their mind to the inconceivable Dharmata and practice it. There is no need to suppress practice and conceptual thought; first, realization is most important. Therefore, seeing all dharmas as mind, one will not see anything else. No matter what state one is in, one does not separate from the state of seeing as mind, so even if one does not practice intentionally, one can merge into Dharmata. Knowing that conceptual thought is mind itself, conceptual thought itself is also Dharmata. No matter what appears, it naturally appears as mind itself, and there is no arising of thoughts that cling to anything other than mind. Where one dwells and where one sees, mind itself is naturally clear, and because there is no interruption, one is clear without practice and can master it without training. When abiding in this meaning, no matter what signs of objects arise, they will not cause harm or distraction, because the appearance of signs is itself a manifestation of mind, so there will be no arising of clinging to signs. In this way, all dharmas are clear in the mind, and one does not waver outward. In this state, there is no action, and because one is free from action, one will attain liberation. Thus, no matter how the environment appears, it appears as mind, and no matter what clinging arises, it arises in the mind. Then, at all times, the mind does not deviate from Dharmata. In this way, all dharmas

Wisdom is when everything is clear in the mind and does not change to other thoughts. The yogi who realizes this, whatever arises in experience, everything is clear as the nature of reality, so everything that appears is meditation. Thus, all phenomena are nothing other than mind. Other concepts do not arise. As soon as they do not arise, the object of thought goes into the nature of reality. Thus, whatever thoughts appear are mind. Since the mind has no inherent existence, one does not see faults in thoughts and characteristics. Thoughts themselves are meditation. From then on, everything that appears, is done, and is experienced is not something that is not meditation, so there is no need to deliberately focus on meditation. This is the teaching that shows the view and meditation as a single certainty. Jo-mo asked the teacher: How should the wisdom of reality be recognized? The teacher said: The instruction for recognizing wisdom is like a skilled doctor who diagnoses a disease through the patient's symptoms and pulse. Similarly, the yogi should rely on the teacher's words, the guru's instructions, and his own experience to recognize that wisdom pervades like the sky. The meaning of all-encompassing wisdom is like the sun rising on the surface of a mirror. Similarly, the yogi should abide in the meaning of all-encompassing wisdom without the appearance of this being clear. The instruction for letting go of the six consciousnesses is like a person afflicted with a disease, who does not have discriminating thoughts such as shame. Similarly, the yogi should abide in all phenomena without discrimination. The meaning of the encounter with wisdom is like a good medicine that has a medicinal effect on whatever it touches. Similarly, if the yogi is nourished by the nectar of view, then everything will become the activity of wisdom. The instruction for abiding in the mind is like a turtle placed in a shell that cannot move. Similarly, if the yogi is held by the guru's instructions, then consciousness cannot move. These are the instructions for recognizing the wisdom of reality. Jo-mo asked the teacher: How should one rest in self-arisen wisdom? The teacher said: There are three ways to rest the mind: 1. Rest like a garuda soaring in the sky, that is, soaring with wings outstretched.
