It is said that there are three types of giving: the giving of wealth, the giving of fearlessness, and the giving of Dharma. There are also three types of discipline: the discipline of vows, the discipline of accumulating virtuous Dharmas, and the discipline of benefiting sentient beings. These are, in order, abstaining from the ten non-virtuous actions, practicing the six perfections, and cultivating the four means of attraction. It is said that there are also three types of patience: patience that does not mind suffering in order to abandon samsara; patience that willingly takes on difficulties in order to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings; and patience that has firm faith in the Dharma and does not fear the profound meaning. It is said that there are also three types of diligence: diligence in engaging in the Dharma of the Great Vehicle; diligence in averting unfavorable conditions; and diligence that is never satisfied in order to achieve the all-knowing Buddha. It is said that there are also three types of meditation: meditation that focuses on the worldly right path; meditation that focuses on the path beyond the world; and meditation with a common object of focus. It is said that there are also three types of wisdom: wisdom that realizes that phenomena have no object of focus; wisdom that realizes that the nature of reality has no object of focus; and wisdom that realizes that the two are great equality. Fifth, it is necessary to know that each of these methods based on one's own mindstream is complete with the four perfections. Giving without expecting anything in return destroys miserliness and poverty, which is the perfection of power; being free from the mind of ordinary people and the Lesser Vehicle is the perfection of means; wishing that the poverty of myself and all sentient beings be cut off is the perfection of aspiration through giving; giving with the three spheres completely pure is the perfection of wisdom. Similarly, discipline that does not desire the fruits of samsara destroys non-virtue, which is power; guarding discipline without being moved by the thoughts of the eight worldly concerns is means; wishing that not only oneself but all sentient beings never interrupt their discipline is aspiration; discipline that is not grasped by the three spheres is wisdom. Patience that is equal to all destroys anger, which is power; not being for worldly purposes such as deception is means; not only wishing for oneself to obtain a beautiful body of gods and humans

May the ugliness of all sentient beings be pacified, this is aspiration. These are seized by the non-objectification of the three spheres, this is wisdom. With the diligence of remembering virtues, destroying laziness, is strength. Hoping to others, etc., determining worldly affairs and non-affairs, is skillful means. May the laziness of sentient beings be cut off, striving on the correct path, this is aspiration. Seized by the non-objectification of the three spheres, is wisdom. With the meditation of abandoning the formless, destroying distraction, is strength. Not desiring the status of gods and humans, but for accomplishing the perfect qualities of unsurpassed enlightenment, is skillful means. May the distraction of all sentient beings be cut off, this is aspiration. This is also the wisdom of completely non-objectifying the three spheres. With the wisdom of the nature of emptiness and compassion, destroying the elaboration of signs, is strength. Being inseparable from this (emptiness and compassion) in the three times, is skillful means. May all self and others realize the true meaning, this is aspiration. One's own mind is inherently the nature of such wisdom, recognizing this is the perfection of wisdom. Tsogyal (མཚོ་རྒྱལ), practice in this way without distraction! Liberated from the lower realms, obtaining the special status of gods and humans, finally perfecting the path, quickly becoming a Buddha, becoming the great guide who liberates all sentient beings from samsara, the master said. Eleventh, the boundary of abandoning and obtaining is: the time of obtaining is after accumulating many merit accumulations, completely purifying one's own mindstream, generating the thought of benefiting sentient beings truthfully and without inversion, and obtaining it in the last three statements of the complete ritual. The time of abandoning is when wrong views arise and the Three Jewels are abandoned, exceeding the precepts to be kept will be lost, therefore it is very important to make efforts with the guard of mindfulness and awareness, the master said. Twelfth, if the precepts are damaged, the method of restoring them is: if the root precept is damaged, it must be taken again as before. If the branch precept is damaged, one should confess before the master and the Three Jewels, the master said. Jomo (ཇོ་མོ) asked Padmasambhava: Second, how to practice generating bodhicitta like Padmasambhava? Padmasambhava replied: Regarding this, there are twelve kinds of precepts for practice. Among them, the first, the essence is: the true meaning of the nature of reality.

That is free from elaboration, and generates altruistic intention for those who have not realized it. Second, the definition is: Like that, it is called "inner" because it arises solely from the mind without relying on external actions of body and speech. It is said that it itself is also incapable. Third, the classification is: There are two types, aspiration and engagement. Among them, aspiration is: Wishing that sentient beings who have not realized it can realize it in that way. However, it is not enough to just sit and murmur. It is crucial to strive in every way to find a method for all sentient beings to attain this. It is said that even entering (the practice of Bodhicitta) is difficult without being separated from dualistic clinging. Fourth, the characteristics of a person who enters training: On top of what was said before, there needs to be a reduction in the elaboration of thoughts. It is said that Tsogyal (Yeshe Tsogyal) should stop worrying. Fifth, the object of training: One should train with the Lama and the three wisdoms, realize the meaning of the two selflessnesses, and take from that which is free from the eight worldly concerns. It is said that the Lama is crucial for entering the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, Tsogyal. Sixth, the ritual of training: After purifying the three circles, abandoning all worldly affairs, request the true pith instructions. It is said. Seventh, the benefit of training is that it excels over wrong paths and lesser vehicles. It is necessary to abandon all thoughts of I and mine and the grasping of subject and object, and to realize the meaning of selflessness. It is said. Eighth, the reason for training in generating Bodhicitta is: Because I must place all sentient beings on the correct path, which is the meaning of the two selflessnesses. Ninth, the faults of not training are: It is deviating from the meaning of selflessness. That is, ordinary people whose minds have not been transformed by philosophical views, and non-Buddhists who have entered wrong paths, they control and enjoy the five aggregates of defilement, the twelve sense bases, and the eighteen elements, and because they cling to a permanent, substantial self, they perceive enemies, friends, self, others, etc., as real. Tsogyal said, the stake of clinging must be pulled out. The faults attributed to this are: By clinging to I and mine in this way, it appears as a foreign land. By clinging to duality, one considers those who help oneself as friends, and those who cause harm as enemies. From this, the two poisons of attachment and aversion arise, and by engaging in various non-virtuous actions, one ultimately falls into lower realms.
