Ga is like a mist, about to dissipate; the mind is like a spark, about to ignite; enjoyment is like an illusion, about to vanish; in short, it's like a beehive, taken away by others; the four invincible enemies are sure to come. After saying this, the father asked: Where is the method to overcome those enemies? The son said: The method to overcome them is with the Buddha, the Bhagavan. There, the householder father and son asked the Buddha, Samsara is impermanent, like a broken beehive; clinging to permanence will lead to ruin; food and wealth are impermanent, and after generating renunciation; give alms and worship the Guru and the Three Jewels; liberate from suffering and attain a place of bliss. After this teaching, the householder father and son divided all their wealth and possessions, gathered many people; and gave extensive alms; in that very life, they attained manifest enlightenment. Tsogyal, if we also generate renunciation towards the objects of samsaric enjoyment, we should give alms; and worship the Guru and the Three Jewels. Guru Rinpoche said: Tsogyal, the arrangement of the Dharma is well arranged from the beginning, and it can overcome the enemies of eighty-four thousand afflictions; it needs to be like a formation disturbed by Prince Moonlight. Tsogyal asked: What should be done? The master said: In India, there is a king named Chandra Bhadra, and his son is named Chandra Kumara; after entrusting the kingdom to him, the prince did not want to do the work of governing the country; the king said to the prince: Govern the country! Our king wants to fight with foreign enemies; find a way to destroy the army! The prince said: It is useless to destroy the army of foreign enemies; we have difficult to overcome, very terrifying enemies coming; the general there is the selfish king; the army is eighty-four thousand afflictions; the weapons are the four great rivers of birth, old age, sickness, and death; they are attacking us. After saying this, the king asked: Where do the enemies live? The prince said: In the place of clinging to various things; the king is called the demon of ego-grasping; the ministers are the five poisonous emotions; the soldiers are the eighty-four thousand afflictions.

Emptiness! Having put on the ten armors of non-virtue, and attacking with the four weapons of birth, old age, sickness, and death, no one can escape. After pleading in this way, the king said: In order to overcome that enemy, how should the battle be arranged? The prince pleaded: This should be asked of the Teacher, the Sugata. After the king and his son asked the Bhagavan, the Bhagavan taught: If you want to win the battle against the enemy of afflictions, you must bet with faith, take the foundation of discipline, ride on the horse of diligence, wear the armor of patience, build the castle of meditation, take up the weapon of wisdom, and raise an army of the ten righteous practices! After teaching this, the king and his son practiced the six paramitas, and thus were liberated from samsara. Feeling amazed at this, the gods in the sky said: For the army of the impermanent Rakshasa assembly, by arranging the battlefield of the six paramitas with faith, they were liberated from the enemy of afflictions and samsara. Such an arrangement of the battlefield is truly amazing! They also said this. Tso Gyal (Yeshe Tsogyal), we must also arrange the battle in that way from the fear of birth and death, she said. Guru Rinpoche said: Tso Gyal, of the two, view and action, view is more important. If the view is certain, then whatever action is done will be liberated, because the view liberates from the root. As soon as a yogi has the confidence of view, action will arise naturally and unceasingly. The example of view is like the sky, without bias and without support, he said. Regarding this, there is a convincing story: In ancient India, there was a householder named Anathapindika, who had two places of offering. One was a monk named Immaculate, who said that if the view is not certain, then whatever actions are done are useless, only training the power of the mind. The other, the Great Black Practitioner, believed that liberation could be achieved through action, so he performed various ascetic practices. The disciples of these two also said this to the householder. The householder asked the Buddha who these two really were. The Buddha taught: If the view is correct and the meaning is understood, one will be liberated from the prison of existence; action without view, because there is no liberation, is like a dog or a pig. He said this. Therefore, if one acts according to the Dharma, the view should be as vast as the sky,
