Mother Dakini Three, wear them on your crown. If there is no Dharma practice to attain liberation, it is said. Guru Rinpoche said: If you practice Dharma from the heart, you must have diligence and effort. Jomo asked how to practice: Relatives, food, wealth, and children, are all illusions, so they should be abandoned. Distractions, merits, and respect, are obstacles and waving flags, so they should be abandoned. Friends, servants, and relatives, are the cause of attachment, hatred, and samsara, so they should be abandoned. Years, months, days, and meals, are thieves at the time of death, so you must meditate quickly. People without bones in their hearts regard relatives, food, wealth, and children as virtues. They see distraction as merit. They see the yoke on their shoulders as the joy of friends. When they do not feel the exhaustion of years, months, and seasons, they calculate length. There are many who rely on the five poisons. At the time of death, one's own wishes must be fulfilled by oneself. Guru Rinpoche said: Practicing Dharma is also difficult. Jomo asked how it is difficult: Danger, if the view is wrong, it is great. Meditation, if done in the mind, is confused. Enemy, breaking vows is harmful. Conduct, if body, speech, and mind are used for sin, it is confused. Doctrine, if greed is excessive, it is destroyed. Dharma, if wealth is the goal, it is ruined. Discipline, it is lost by scolding others. Path, holding suffering as truth is wrong. Shame, it is lost by greed. Wishes, if the words of this life are excessive, they are wrong. Those who show off are those who have no Dharma. Yoga practitioners are the weak. Because they do not remember impermanence, at the time of death, I see them panting greatly. They boast of being clever and virtuous and stand firm. Guru Rinpoche said: If you know, there is a way to be happy. Jomo asked how to do it: The view that there is no duality of grasper and grasped is happy. If there is no sinking or scattering, meditation is happy. If attachment is as pure as the sky, conduct is happy. If one's own mind is pure, experience is happy. If there is no thorn in the heart, self-abiding is happy. If there is purity without partiality, compassion is happy. If grasping is purified from the depths, giving is happy. If you know that food and wealth are illusory, enjoyment is happy. Wherever you stay, if there is no certainty, staying is happy. If you do not occupy the ground of arrogance, conduct is happy. If you do not bring suffering into your home, living is happy. If you do not compete with the virtuous, being a friend is happy.

地上的行为若离我执则安乐;依止具足慈悲的圣者则安乐;以如来藏所摄的六道众生为兄弟则安乐;心的执着若断除,则所作所为皆成道用而安乐;显有自解脱则获得大乐而安乐;若知显现声响如幻则断除痛苦而安乐;自己认识自己则不需勤作而安乐;分别念是法性,故无论见何皆修持则安乐;如是知晓,则无论如何行事皆安乐;与我执未分离的恶时众生没有快乐和安乐;一切皆为慈悲,如是说。 莲花生大师说:若能,则有快乐之法。措嘉(空行母名)问:如何行持?答:因执着的泥潭无处可扎根,故离开故乡则快乐;因对所知之闻思无有穷尽,故于证悟自心之时则快乐;因庸常的闲谈无有止境,故若能禁语则快乐;因世间的散乱之事无有穷尽,故若能独处则快乐;因所作之事无有穷尽,故若能放下所作则快乐;因对积攒的财物不知满足,故若能减少执着则快乐;因对憎恨的敌人无法征服,故若能调伏烦恼则快乐;因对执着的亲友无法满足,故若能断除牵挂则快乐;因对轮回的根本无法斩断,故若能断除我执则快乐;因分别念和动摇无有穷尽,故若能断除心的散乱则快乐;总之,与我执未分离的众生没有快乐;于轮回之处有长久的痛苦,如是说。莲花生大师说:自诩为瑜伽士却堕入庸常者甚多。措嘉问:如何堕入?答:口头上说见地,心中却不识自性的瑜伽士是错谬的;将知识囚禁,做不证悟的愚痴禅修的瑜伽士是错谬的;口头上说一切皆是心,行为却轻率放肆的瑜伽士是错谬的,如是说。问:不堕入错谬者是怎样的?答:知晓显现为心,将法身带入道用的瑜伽士是不错谬的;断除一切戏论,具足见地把握的瑜伽士是不错谬的;亲身实证,将觉性带入道用的瑜伽士是不错谬的;将显现作为助伴,无有贪执的瑜伽士是不错谬的;

If earthly conduct is free from self-grasping, it is blissful; Relying on a virtuous one endowed with compassion is blissful; The six realms of beings gathered by the essence of the Sugata are blissful as siblings; If attachment to the mind is severed, whatever is done becomes the path and is blissful; If appearances and existence are self-liberated, great bliss is attained and it is blissful; If appearances and sounds are known as illusion, suffering is cut off and it is blissful; If one recognizes oneself, there is no need for effort and it is blissful; Since conceptual thoughts are the nature of reality, whatever is seen is blissful to meditate upon; Knowing this, whatever is done is blissful; Beings of this degenerate age who are not separated from self-grasping have no happiness or bliss; Everything is compassion, it is said. Guru Rinpoche said: If you can, there is a way to be happy. Jomo asked: How should I do it? He replied: Because there is nowhere to plant the stake of attachment, it is happy to leave one's homeland; Because there is no end to learning and contemplation of what is to be known, it is happy when one realizes one's own mind; Because there is no end to ordinary idle talk, it is happy if one can be silent; Because there is no end to worldly distractions, it is happy if one can live alone; Because there is no end to work, it is happy if one can give up work; Because there is no satisfaction with accumulated wealth, it is happy if one can reduce attachment; Because there is no conquering the hated enemy, it is happy if one can subdue afflictions; Because there is no satisfaction with attached relatives, it is happy if one can cut off emotional ties; Because there is no cutting off the root of samsara, it is happy if one can cut off self-grasping; Because there is no end to conceptual thoughts and movements, it is happy if one can cut off mental distractions; In short, beings who are not separated from self-grasping have no happiness; In samsara, there is long-lasting suffering, it is said. Guru Rinpoche said: There are many who claim to be yogis but fall into ordinariness. Jomo asked: How do they fall? He replied: Yogis who talk about views but do not know the nature of their own minds are mistaken; Yogis who imprison knowledge and engage in ignorant meditation without realization are mistaken; Yogis who say that everything is mind but act carelessly and recklessly are mistaken, it is said. Jomo asked: What is it like not to fall into error? He replied: Yogis who know appearances as mind and bring the Dharmakaya into the path are not mistaken; Yogis who cut off all elaborations and possess confidence in their view are not mistaken; Yogis who personally experience it and bring awareness into the path are not mistaken; Yogis who take appearances as companions and are without attachment are not mistaken;
