Gaining a firm foundation means that all the Buddha's qualities are fully and equally manifested. If you understand and comprehend its meaning, it is said that all qualities are essential. The teacher said. Jomo asked the teacher: Where is the essence of all activities? The teacher said: The essence of all activities lies in effortless spontaneous accomplishment. All other activities are changing and impermanent. This self-aware mind is originally uncreated and spontaneously accomplished. Now, there is no need to strive for the meaning of activities, because it has already been done from the beginning. Those who enjoy the Dharma of cause and effect desire to attain Buddhahood through the fruit of effort. Here it says, activities: By not seeking and abiding, all actions are accomplished; without seeking, the Dharmakaya is accomplished. Thus, if you understand and comprehend its meaning, it is said that all activities are essential. The teacher said. Jomo asked the teacher: Where is the essence of all mantras? The teacher said: The essence of all mantras lies in the essence of the meaning of mantras. Other mantras are changing and impermanent. The essence of mantras is awareness, and the meaning of emptiness of awareness, although it pervades everything, is difficult for everyone to realize, so it is secret. The essence of the meaning, the essence is inexpressible, because it is originally uncreated, so it is secret. The essence of the instruction of meaning is the cause of attaining Buddhahood, so it is the essence of the meaning of mantras. To diligently meditate on the deity and recite mantras, hoping to attain Buddhahood, is to be bound by the desire for Buddhahood. If you want to strive to realize such a meaning, and try to realize it through practice, you will not attain Buddhahood, because the practice itself is a bondage. Therefore, if you recognize that your nature is spontaneously accomplished, then there is no need to practice Buddhahood. If you understand and comprehend such a meaning, it is said that all practices are essential. The teacher said. Jomo asked the teacher: Where is the essence of all aspirations? The teacher said: The essence of all aspirations lies in having no desires, other aspirations are changing and impermanent. Moreover, abiding and practicing in the common vehicle of tenets is to cling to both hope and fear. The aspiration of the secret mantra Vajrayana is both hope and fear.

Without example, like the path of a bird; without traversing the five paths, one enters the ultimate path; without making aspirations, one goes to the path of Buddhahood. Thus, the meaning of Bodhicitta is without error, the Dharmadhatu is spontaneously accomplished, and merely recognizing this, one does not hope to attain Buddhahood, nor does one fear falling into Samsara. Therefore, from the beginning of purity, there is nothing to enter. If one understands and comprehends this, it is said that all aspirations have grasped the key point. Teacher, Jomo asked: Where do all the key points of meditation gather? The teacher replied: All meditation gathers in the state of non-fabricated non-meditation, all other meditations are changing and impermanent. In the state of non-meditation, meditate on non-thought; the practitioner abides in the state of non-fabrication; there is no reason to meditate; there is no meditator who meditates; realizing that there is nothing, is the key point of meditation. The common vehicle that meditates with diligence is not said to be liberated because it is bound by the object of diligent practice. Therefore, if one comprehends non-meditation as self-illuminating, it is said that all meditation has grasped the key point. Teacher, Jomo asked: Where do all the key points of conduct gather? The teacher replied: The key point of all conduct is that there is nothing to do. All other conduct is changing and impermanent. By not seeking conduct and abiding in it, one can control all actions. Following after thoughts and habits is the common vehicle of sentient beings, acting in the Dharma of cause and effect. So, what is it? Conduct without hope and fear, no matter how one practices all Dharmas, one abides equally without seeking, free from the desire of diligence and attachment, no matter how appearances and memories arise, abiding in the Dharma nature of effortless equality, this is the conduct of the Buddhas. If one understands and comprehends this, it is said that all conduct has grasped the key point. Teacher, Jomo asked: Where do all the key points of results gather? The teacher replied: The key point of all results gathers in the perfectly complete Buddha. All other results are changing and impermanent. The perfectly complete Buddha is liberated from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, transcending the realm of all things, therefore it does not change and has no birth or death. Wide and
