Practice: Clearly visualize the deity without any flaws, and free from non-conceptualization, meditate solely on the deity itself. Then, the method of generating the deity is: from the state of clear visualization without flaws, visualize the deity standing up; whether sitting, lying down, reclining, lying face down, or on a mountain, on a plain, near, far, in the middle of a rock, in the middle of water, or anywhere else you want to meditate, it is considered generating the deity on the path. The teacher said. Jomo asked the teacher: If uniting with the deity, how should it be done? The teacher said: That is also to dissolve the generated deity into oneself, visualize oneself becoming the same appearance as the deity, or fully generate the mandala and pure land and meditate. Then, the method of combining the deity with meaning is: the deity that one conceptualizes is stable, and one's own mind and the eight aggregates of consciousness appear as the deity's body and wisdom. In reality, awareness is the mind of enlightenment, it is self-born wisdom, it is the nature of the fruit. The deity does not come from anywhere, and appearing without inherent existence, therefore it is the non-dual body. Furthermore, appearing as the deity's body, appearing like the body, speech, and mind vajra, but without inherent existence, is without attachment. Mind itself appears as the deity, but without inherent existence, it is constant and inexpressible, therefore it is called the Dharmakaya. Like this, the yogi who practices by combining meaning abides in the six vows of practice: not interrupting the devotion to the lama who reveals the oral instructions; relying on the conducive conditions for samadhi; abandoning the unfavorable obstacles; not abandoning samadhi in all activities; not abandoning the yidam until the end; keeping secret the deity one practices; not practicing the yidam with a mind of acceptance and rejection. No matter which deity one practices, one is practicing all the Buddhas; the Buddhas also have nothing else to practice other than realizing one's own mind; the yidam is also the appearance of the mind; because there is nothing to accomplish and practice from elsewhere, all the Buddhas are contained within the yidam; even if one practices many yidams, it is the appearance of the mind; even if one practices one deity, it is the appearance of the mind. These are the oral instructions for uniting the deity and combining the deity with meaning. The teacher said. Jomo asked the teacher: How to bring the deity into the path and practice? The teacher said: To practice the deity, first become accustomed to the deity in front, then rely on the focus of visualizing oneself as the deity.

, stop reciting until then. Then arrange the mandala for practice and set out the offerings. Sit comfortably on your seat. Place the supports in front of you and invite all the gurus, yidams, and deities, and prostrate, make offerings, praises, and perform the eight-limbed practice: the deities dissolve into light and merge into oneself, thereby generating the pride of oneself as the yidam deity. Establish boundaries, bless the offerings, and generate the mandala and deities with the three samadhis, etc., empower and bless. Invite the wisdom being and merge them, and make prostrations and offerings of praise. Bring the wisdom being to the front and recite (Tibetan: ཛཔ྄་བྱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जप, Sanskrit Romanization: japa, Chinese literal meaning: recitation). After completing the recitation, offer praise. Merge the invited wisdom being into oneself and sleep with the pride of oneself as the deity. In the morning, instantly arise as the deity, sit upright as before, and recite. Bless the food and drink and offer the tsok remains. It is said that even if you only practice with one body ornament, you should practice in this way. Jomo asked the master: After practicing the deity, how will the signs and omens of accomplishment appear? The master replied: The signs include dream signs, warmth signs, and omens. The five omens are: like smoke, like a mirage, like a firefly, like a city of gandharvas, and like a cloudless sky. These are the stages of experience, explained with examples. Dream signs are: seeing the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing separately, seeing oneself equal to the Buddhas, seeing one's own clear deity body without front or back, seeing all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas prostrating and making offerings to one's own clear deity body, dreaming of the Buddhas giving and teaching profound Dharma. Furthermore, dreaming of always being naked is a sign of purifying habitual tendencies; dreaming of climbing a ladder to the sky is a sign of grasping the path; dreaming of riding a lion and an elephant is a sign of subduing the earth; dreaming of a smiling face in a reflection, etc., is a sign of receiving a prophecy. It is said that even if these good dream signs appear, one should not be overjoyed. The warmth of meditation has three aspects: outer, inner, and secret. The outer warmth sign is seeing coarse objects of experience such as dust particles, letters, hand gestures, heart mantras, and subtle bodies during meditation. Regarding fire and water
