A short explanation is needed. Tsho-gyal said, "Put your worries aside." Fifth, the place of receiving is: One should learn from the three wisdom teachers, realize the meaning of the two selflessnesses, and receive from being free from the eight worldly concerns. Tsho-gyal said, "When entering the Mahayana Dharma, a teacher is very important." Sixth, the ritual of receiving is: Purify the three circles, abandon all worldly affairs, and request the true oral instructions. Seventh, the benefit of learning is: It surpasses wrong paths and the Hinayana, abandoning all thoughts of self and grasping, it is necessary to realize the meaning of selflessness. Eighth, the reason for learning the generation of Bodhicitta is: I must place all sentient beings on the correct path of the two selflessnesses. Ninth, the fault of not learning is: It is deviating from the meaning of selflessness. That is, ordinary people whose minds have not been transformed by philosophical tenets, and non-Buddhists who have entered wrong paths, control and enjoy the five aggregates of defilement, the twelve sources, and the eighteen elements. They cling to things that are permanent, substantial, and with a self, distinguishing between enemies and friends, self and others, and so on. Tsho-gyal said, "The thorn of clinging must be pulled out." The fault of clinging is: By clinging to "I" and "mine" in this way, it appears as a foreign land. By clinging to these two, one regards those who help oneself as friends and those who cause harm as enemies, from which arise attachment and aversion. By engaging in various non-virtuous actions, one wanders in the lower realms and samsara. Tsho-gyal said, "If this demon does not leave the door, there will be no happiness." Who can prevent this ego? In general, all Buddhists can prevent it. In particular, the Shravakas of the Hinayana can also prevent it. We who have entered the gate of the Mahayana do not cling to the self of a person, let alone speak of it. As for the selflessness of phenomena, it is the Shravakas who understand partially, and the Pratyekabuddhas who claim to be enlightened without truly understanding. That is, the Shravakas deviate from the understanding of the selflessness of phenomena, asserting things as substantial; while the Pratyekabuddhas believe that they abide in the realm of clinging to the mind itself, which is empty of the meaning of false knowledge. Tsho-gyal said, "Until one is free from the views of inferior philosophical tenets..."

It is said that one does not see the true meaning. The fault of clinging to it is: from the aspect of acceptance and clinging, afflictions arise, and this becomes the cause of wandering in samsara, so even if one strives for countless eons, it is a meaningless action. Who can prevent it? All Mahayana practitioners can prevent it, especially the Madhyamikas can also prevent it. It is said that it is a bad omen for those of us who have entered the gate of Secret Mantra to cling to sectarian biases. Tenth, the Dharma to be protected is: to train in the meaning of selflessness. This is divided into two: First, the protection of aspiration is: constantly aspiring that all sentient beings may realize the meaning of selflessness, and constantly praying; also, for those who meditate on the meaning of selflessness, rejoice in their practice three times during the day and three times during the night; it is very important to train in striving not to deviate from the meaning of selflessness at all times. Second, the protection of entering is divided into outer and inner: First, the four outer protections are: until the meaning of selflessness is realized, do not separate from the Lama, the virtuous friend who teaches it; abandon sectarianism, enemies, friends, and partiality of the place of residence; practice the three activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating on the Dharma that teaches selflessness and emptiness; and do not definitely grasp names, lineages, and bodies as self. Second, there are also four inner trainings: do not grasp all external imputed names and terms as real, because everything has not arisen from the nature of one's own mind; know that all things contained in the vessel and essence appear like dreams, but are without inherent existence; like this, for things that are not established anywhere, that mind and consciousness that clings in various ways, search for it three times during the day and three times during the night; through searching, for the mind that clings from within, since it cannot be found anywhere, it is very important to strive and train in not deviating from entering the meaning of namelessness and boundlessness. If one strives in this way, one can cut off the demons from the root, thereby stopping the continuum of samsara. Eleventh, regarding the boundary of giving and receiving: the time of receiving is from the time of receiving the instructions from the Lama; the time of giving up is when one has not realized selflessness, because clinging to the grasper and the grasped is self-talk, so one will lose it, use the antidote to prevent it.
