Thinking of teaching the Dharma for the benefit of others, and hoping that it will be both promising and good, and thinking that this root of virtue is not for my sole benefit, but may all sentient beings attain unsurpassed enlightenment, this is the inner (seven branches). The seven secret branches are: Praying for wisdom without discrimination or attachment, offering without attachment to the body, confessing without the nature of the confessor and the confessed, rejoicing without self or other, urging the Buddha who is like an illusion to turn the wheel of Dharma which is like an echo, praying for the illusory Dharma for the sake of the illusory beings in samsara, and completely dedicating all the roots of virtue of the immeasurable Dharmadhatu. Furthermore, the actual practice of the sevenfold purification is: The heart essence of the Sugata pervades all beings, there are no unsuitable sentient beings here, arise, arise, deity with the ten powers, do not delay, deity with the power of compassion, Supreme Three Jewels who contemplate the benefit of sentient beings, in this place created and arranged by the mind, please come together with all your retinue, from this time onwards, may I act according to your command, please bless me, to the Three Jewels and the Guru Yidam, I prostrate with body, speech, and mind, offering the supreme and unsurpassed offerings, all the vast offerings are offered to the Three Jewels, turning away from sinful actions, and fully engaging in meritorious and virtuous actions, for the virtue of sentient beings, I rejoice with joy, with reverence to the Sugatas, I pray for the turning of the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma, to those Bodhisattvas who wish to pass into Nirvana, I pray that they remain for the benefit of beings, thus, all the merit of myself and others, I dedicate to the great enlightenment for the benefit of beings. Thus it is said. The yoga of accumulating merit through the door of the sevenfold purification should be practiced, it is very important, thus it is said. 5, Guru Rinpoche said: Reciting the words of the Sugata is very important, thus it is said. The words have three aspects, outer, inner, and secret, which are contained in the three pitakas of Sutra, Vinaya, and Abhidharma. These are also contained in the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is unborn, it is the mother of all letters, therefore this alone is sufficient, thus it is said. Among them, the outer is the Sutra.

Like the Vinaya school, pronounce the "A" syllable; like the Inner Tantra school, recite the "A" syllable; like the Secret Oral Instruction school, meditate on the "A" syllable—these are the three. Among them, like the Outer Sutra school, pronouncing the "A" syllable means that the Sutra school has two aspects: provisional meaning and definitive meaning. Both of these are included in the Perfection of Wisdom. It is said that the Perfection of Wisdom is included in the single-syllable Mother, so pronouncing the "A" syllable is very important. There are three certainties and three methods of placement: First, the time is certain—before dawn; the breath is certain—one breath; the number is certain—twenty-one. The three methods of placement are: place the mind in the unborn; place the speech in the empty sound; place the body in equanimity. By doing this, these twenty-one "A" syllables are said to have the same merit as reciting the extensive Mother Sutra once. It is said that in this life, one will be protected from great harm, bad dreams, bad omens, and all demonic influences. In the next life, all sins and obscurations related to the Dharma, including the five heinous crimes, will be purified. Second, like the Inner Secret Mantra school, reciting the "A" syllable has three focuses: mentally focus on a clear "A" syllable in the space in front; naturally perceive all speech as the sound of "A"; and focus on the nature of appearance-emptiness as the essence of "A," reciting the "A" syllable one hundred and eight times. This purifies all sins committed by body, speech, and mind. As it says in the Secret Essence Tantra: "All the extremely subtle A's, are neither increased nor decreased." This is how the "A" syllable is recited in Secret Mantra. Third, like the Secret Oral Instruction school, there are three ways to meditate: keep the body still; keep the mind in emptiness; and keep the speech free from words, remaining only in the essence of "A." Then, if you want to end the meditation, gradually dissolve the "A" syllable into the abdomen, and the abdomen into the head. Then, contemplate emptiness like clouds dissolving in the sky or fog clearing from a mirror. This is the oral instruction for meditating on the "A" syllable. As it says in the Praise of Names: "A is the best of all letters; the perfect Buddha arises from A." And so on. Therefore, this yoga of pronouncing the "A" syllable, the essence of all Sutras and Tantras, is said to be very important. 6. Guru Rinpoche said: This yoga of food offerings is a method for quickly accumulating merit and is very important. There are outer, inner, and secret aspects to it. The outer aspect is to purify the substance of the food with the three syllables (藏文:ཨཱོྃ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), and (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽).
