Because it matures into Dharmakaya, it is empowerment, like the empowerment of a king. Secondly, there are four ways to practice the path: abiding in the cause, obtaining from conditions, practicing the path, and obtaining the four Kayas as the result. First, abiding in the cause, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of the body abide as deities, which is the seed of the vase empowerment; the breath and letters of speech abide as mantras, which is the seed of the secret empowerment; the pure elements, Kunda, abide in great bliss, which is the seed of the third empowerment; the mind abides as the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, which is the seed of the fourth empowerment. Second, obtaining from conditions is only the mandala, because placing the basis in the mandala makes the root suitable for empowerment. That is, relying on the external mandala of dust and colors to show the internal mandala of meaning: first, the mandala of the deity of the body; second, the mandala of the mantra of speech; third, the mandala of the Bindu of great bliss; fourth, the mandala of the essence of the four Kayas of the mind. Third, there are four realizations in practicing the path: the generation stage is the realization of the vase empowerment; all the channels, winds, Bindus, Tummo, and Chandali are the realization of the secret empowerment; relying on one's own and others' bodies, all the meditation on the lower gate of great bliss is the realization of wisdom and knowledge; the great non-dual wisdom born from that is the realization of great bliss. Fourth, the four fruits of practicing the path are: the first empowerment obtains the Nirmanakaya; the second obtains the Sambhogakaya; the third obtains the Dharmakaya; the fourth obtains the Svabhavikakaya. Therefore, recognizing all the body, speech, channels, and elements as Buddhas is the only empowerment, so it is indispensable. Second, there are two views that ripen into liberation: the purification of the generation stage and the teaching of the completion stage. First, the purification of the generation stage is: generate the external and internal world as the palace and deity. Therefore, there are five aspects to this: the basis of purification, the object of purification, the method of purification, the result, and the way of purification. First, the basis of purification is that all phenomena of the external and internal world abide in the nature of the palace and deity. Second, the object of purification is not knowing that, grasping the external and internal world as self-existent, which is the imputed temporary defilement. Third, the method of purification is to visualize all the external and internal world as the palace and deity. Fourth, the result is that the imputed temporary defilement is purified, and the self-

O! The fifth, the method of purification, is that within emptiness, unobstructed great compassion, the two being inseparable, from the very nature of letters, one visualizes the outer vessel as a palace, and the inner essence, oneself and others, all as the mandala of deities. Among these, in terms of the two, samaya and wisdom, one's own and others' body, speech, and mind abide as the body, speech, and mind of the deity; clarifying the samaya deity without deviating from that, and without ordinary wrong thoughts, hence one is a hero. Thus, knowing that which has always been present and inherently exists, hence it is wisdom. Without the stain of dualistic grasping, hence one is a hero. Therefore, samaya and wisdom are inseparable. Then, it is merely recognizing what has always been there; the so-called inviting and dissolving from the place of its own nature, establishing an object elsewhere does not exist. As it is said: In the indivisible mandala of self-appearance. Such a generation stage has three key points for progressing on the path: purifying attachment to ordinariness is clear appearance; knowing its suchness is pure recollection; and without conceptual afterthoughts is stable pride. First, clarifying the appearance to purify attachment to ordinariness: by meditating on a clear appearance, all common qualities will arise. A large and stable seat brings longevity; widely spread feet bring stability; meditating on a youthful and pleasing body brings few illnesses and good health; clear hand gestures bring wish fulfillment; complete ornaments bring wealth; meditating on a clear face, fangs, and body color brings obedience and control over appearances, which is interdependence. Therefore, meditating on the body color, face, and hand gestures of the main deity and retinue completely and clearly will prevent any obstacles from arising and bring all common qualities. Without clarity, no qualities will arise. Second, to know its suchness, pure recollection is divided into two: pure signs and pure meanings. The first is: when meditating on three heads, six arms, four legs, etc., one should remember the three heads as the three bodies, the six arms as the six wisdoms, and the four legs as the four miraculous powers. The body colors are: white is without impurity, yellow increases qualities, red is compassionate attachment, green is unobstructed activity, and blue or black is unchanging dharmata. The hand gestures are: the vajra is uncreated, the wheel cuts through afflictions, the jewel brings qualities, and the lotus is without impurity.
