. Prajñāśikṣāna (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is the learning of wisdom. Paramārtha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思): Wisdom that understands the ultimate meaning due to wisdom. Paramārtha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思): Ultimate meaning. Prajñā (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is wisdom. Therefore, it is called the Three Treasure Storehouses, because many categories are containers, sources, and the origin of qualities, hence it is a treasure. Third, from the perspective of the self-nature of characteristics: Abandoning harm, entering into special methods. (Meaning) Abandoning actions that cause harm to all sentient beings is the Pratimoksha vow; on top of abandoning harmful actions, entering into the activity of benefiting others is the Bodhisattva vow; both abandoning harmful actions and entering into the activity of benefiting others, and being held by special methods, is the Secret Mantra vow. Fourth, from the way the basis arises: Seeing the meaning of truth, becoming familiar and not deviating from it. (Meaning) If we assume that the three vows arise and are protected in the same continuum of a person, then seeing the true meaning of reality without error is wisdom, which is Secret Mantra; making it familiar and accustomed is Samadhi, which is the Bodhisattva vow; not deviating from these two is discipline, which is the Shravaka vow. Therefore, the three vows are non-mixing, complete, increasing, and non-contradictory, that is: self-nature is not mixed; what needs to be abandoned is complete; qualities need to be increased; the essence is not contradictory. That is to say, Pratimoksha is abandoning afflictions, Bodhisattva is purifying (afflictions), and Secret Mantra is transforming afflictions into the path, therefore self-nature is not mixed; afflictions are in one's own continuum, and they are stopped by one vow, therefore what needs to be abandoned is complete; afflictions not only do not cause harm, but become helpers, therefore qualities need to be increased; although the rules and methods of protection are different, all afflictions and non-virtues are stopped by one vow, therefore the essence of the three vows is not contradictory, just like building a castle from the whole. The three vows cannot be protected in the same continuum, because Pratimoksha is mainly based on objects. If someone thinks that (the Pratimoksha vow) disappears like the first layer of skin falling off, then that is wrong. This is because of not being skilled in means and having small wisdom. But here, with the key of skillful means and great wisdom, realizing that all phenomena are inseparable, therefore the defilement of desire and the fault of defeat will not arise, but qualities will arise again, just like the difference between poison that has not been blessed with mantra and poison that has been blessed with mantra. Fifth, the way it transforms into categories from the perspective of antidotes is: Due to the difference in antidotes, eighty-four thousand teachings were taught.

Therefore, in general, these three trainings are the antidotes to the three poisons, and in particular, because they become the antidotes to the eighty-four thousand afflictions, it is said that there are eighty-four thousand Dharma doors. There are two aspects to this: afflictions and the meaning of the Dharma that is the antidote to them. First, afflictions: These illusory appearances of afflictions arise from the root ignorance, because not recognizing the face of awareness itself, illusions continue uninterruptedly, and the three poisons of attachment, aversion, and delusion arise. The number of eighty-four thousand is: the mind attached to the five desirable qualities is desire, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the mind of harsh change accompanied by heat is hatred, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the mind that does not recognize or understand meaning is ignorance, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the three poisons do not remain fixed in any one aspect, but rather, habits, latent habits, whatever conditions are encountered, they manifest clearly, this is the equal mixture of the three poisons, internally divided into twenty-one thousand, totaling eighty-four thousand. Second, the meaning of the Dharma that is the antidote to them is: eighty-four thousand Dharma doors. That is, from the perspective of purity, because it protects from falling, it is Dharma; because it opens and bestows, it is a door. The number of eighty-four thousand is: whatever affliction arises, merely becoming its antidote is a Dharma door, and there are eighty-four thousand of these. That is, the part that becomes the antidote to desire is discipline, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the part that becomes the antidote to hatred is the sutras, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the part that becomes the antidote to ignorance is the Abhidharma, internally divided into twenty-one thousand; the part that becomes the antidote to equal mixture is secret mantra, internally divided into twenty-one thousand, totaling eighty-four thousand. The reason why secret mantra becomes the antidote to equal mixture is: the antidote to ignorance, habits, and latent habits is the reality of the nature of things, self-arisen and co-emergent, and this is what secret mantra reveals. In order to accomplish the fruit of Buddhahood, one must base oneself on the three trainings, and the three vows must arise in the continuum, for example, in order to obtain the autumn harvest, one needs fields and agriculture. Therefore, these are indispensable. Second, entering the path through the three minds: it means, mind
