Visualize in front of you Manjushri Bodhisattva, Appearing as a bodhisattva, golden in color, making the supreme giving gesture, holding an utpala flower, Coming with a retinue of bodhisattvas, dissolving into you all, And inspiring your minds with blessings. Place the deity on the crown of your head, and recite: Om! Lord of the infinite noble sons, Protector and refuge of all beings, Manjushri, endowed with glory, Make the mind of enlightenment stable! Recite this mantra that increases the mind of enlightenment. Having well grasped the way of vast conduct, And benefiting beings with the four objects of attraction, May the auspiciousness of the bodhisattvas Who dwell on the grounds, such as Joyful, prevail! Thus, recite auspicious words and scatter flowers. The meaning of Bodhisattva is: Because one does not turn back from accomplishing unsurpassable enlightenment with great mental strength, he is called a Bodhisattva. Above this, all the stages of the vehicle are based on the unmistaken nature of the two selflessnesses. These bodhisattvas who appear in samsara and nirvana, although they appear, are known to be like illusions, whose essence is without truth.
