Being in nothingness, one is liberated from clinging. Being in primordial liberation, one is liberated from groundlessness. Being in the immediate present, one is liberated from being struck. Being in the instant liberation, one is liberated in appearance and emptiness. When one realizes this as it is, there is no acceptance or rejection of anything, because one knows that all appearances are the self-manifestation of reality. Therefore, there is no need to meditate on a good meditation separately, nor is there a bad thought to be abandoned separately. Just as a precious jewel goes to the golden island, everything is immersed in the great expanse of reality, and the object of meditation is liberated in its own place, so one attains Buddhahood without an intermediate state. Second, there are three things to do to stabilize recognition: recognition, the need for familiarity, and the way to cultivate practice. First, even if realization arises at first, the difference between the coarse and the subtle is very large, and various errors must be distinguished by an experienced lama. Then, in a secluded place, pray to the lineage of lamas. Let the posture of the body be in meditation, and the lama says: Oh, then, when your mind is left uncorrected in its own way, doesn't the thought subside in its own place and stay quietly? That is calm abiding, but it is not the nature of the mind. Nowadays, most people who practice meditation take that as meditation. They are proud of themselves and teach it to others, but it is not possible to meditate with it. There is no way to avoid it. Look at the nature of the one who abides in your own mind, and in that state, do not fall into dullness, non-indication, or abandonment. Is the nature of the mind like this? To express it in words? To think about it in your mind? There is no object to be expressed in words, but without an object, there is a clear and uninterrupted awareness, awake, yes, naked, clear. The seeing of the unseen, the experiencing of the unexperienced, the clear and objectless that cannot be expressed, does it not abide in it? This is called insight. Although this comes before and after in words, there is no difference in meaning. The one who is complete in the moment of meditation is said to have arisen without the fault of meditation. Just by looking at the nature of the mind, does not the empty and clear one, which is not established in the nature of shape, color, object, or sign, abide in it?
