Twenty-two, fifty-eight blood-drinking deities reside in the ossuary. The secret lies in the completeness of the mandala and the deity's mind; the mandala of self-aware bodhicitta is clear. It is said, "One's own mind abides as the guru deity." It is said. The essence of one's own mind is primordially pure, being the great teacher Padmasambhava of Oddiyana, the self-aware essence, the unmade Skull Garland Power. It is said, and the meaning of these is explained in detail. The empowerment of suchness is to be conferred upon the eyes through symbols. Throw the flowers and tie them on your heads, saying: Om Prati Grihna Imam Satva Maha Bala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Accept, This, Being, Great, Power), Heroic yogi, you! For the female, Heroic yogini, you! Look at this good mandala! Now generate great faith! Bless with mantra and mudra! You are born into the Buddha's lineage! Now you have become a Buddha's child! Having attained accomplishment, protect the vows! Strive in this secret mantra! Thus it is said. Then offer the mandala and request the empowerment: Guru Kunsang Heruka, Kunje Gyalpo, consider me! I, named so-and-so, request you to grant the great outer empowerment! Grant the great inner empowerment! Grant the great secret empowerment! Grant the great empowerment of suchness! Thus pray. Then, gradually visualize the disciples as the deities of the five families in order, first visualizing Akshobhya, and the vase empowerment is: As this vase appears on the crown of your heads, all the deities of the peaceful Dharmadhatu mandala instantly transform into the deities of Akshobhya's heart, empowering the aggregate of consciousness, purifying all sins and obscurations, the nectar of wisdom swirls upwards, and visualize Akshobhya and his consort adorning the head as a symbol of empowerment. Hum! The aggregate of consciousness is completely pure, it is the nature of mirror-like wisdom, hatred is the unmoving vajra, may you receive the empowerment of this vase! Om Bodhicitta Maha Sukha Jnana Dhatu Ah (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Bodhicitta, Great, Bliss, Wisdom, Realm, Ah), Om Vajra Abhisinca Hum (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Consecrate, Hum). Then visualize the disciple as Ratnasambhava and place the crown on the head. As this crown appears on the crown of your heads, all the deities of the peaceful Dharmadhatu mandala instantly transform into the mandala of the qualities of Ratnasambhava.
