Napa Gyatso! Ema, all the deities of the mandala of the Three Roots! The means of realizing oneself as non-dual with them, this profound and essential instruction, has not been propagated in the world before. Whoever encounters this has great fortune, they are a being who has exhausted birth. Since there is no place to propagate it now, it is concealed as a treasure for the future, to be encountered by those with karmic connections in the future. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! ༄༅! From the Heart Drop of Vajrasattva: A Clarification of the Meaning of the Activity Manual of the Three Roots. Homage to the Three Roots! In order to quickly complete great merit and attain unsurpassable enlightenment, the activity manual of the Three Roots is taught. Among the preliminary practices, main practice, and subsequent practices, first, in a pleasing and secluded excellent place, arrange the supports of body, speech, and mind, a precious vessel, a Bhanda (Sanskrit) with the proper characteristics, arrange a torma adorned with ornaments, and gather the materials for tsok and offerings. Cut off the boundaries with the view of self-nature: Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) I am primordially Vajrasattva, the emanations of my body fill the sky, my speech proclaims sound throughout the three thousand worlds, the rays of light from my mind flash like a thousand bolts of lightning, the fire of wisdom fills all directions, all beings and environments are buddhas and palaces, where are there obstacles and hindrances? I cut off the boundaries in the great primordial liberation. Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ!) Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Āḥ!) Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ!) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ!) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ!)! Clarify the meaning of the natural state, and bless the tsok torma: By reciting Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ!) Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Āḥ!) Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) three times, all the faults of clinging to reality and conceptualization are removed. By reciting Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ!) Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Āḥ!) Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) three times, it is blessed as amrita endowed with the five wisdoms, rakta that subdues the five poisons, a torma endowed with the five desirable qualities, and a tsok torma that is the source of siddhis. Then, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and accumulate merit as in the sadhana. Then, secondly, clarify that oneself is primordially the mandala of the Three Roots: Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) In the state of empty clarity, the Great Perfection of Accomplishment, emptiness and compassion pervade all, unceasing awareness arises as Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!), a palace of fivefold wisdom, on a lotus stem with four petals, above the sun and moon, from Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ!) oneself is Vajrasattva, white and clear, sitting in vajra posture, holding vajra and bell, adorned with precious ornaments and beautiful signs, above the crown of the head, Orgyen (Padmasambhava) father and mother are clear, on the four petals, visualize the dakinis of the four families, all the deities of the primordially complete Three Roots, arise in the space of aimless transparency.
