When the radiance of conceptual thoughts is not in control, the essence of equanimity vividly arises in the mind, that is the Dharmakaya. Clearly and distinctly, self-aware and self-luminous, that is the Sambhogakaya. Inexpressible awareness, transparently and nakedly arises, that is the Nirmanakaya of compassion. However, clinging to this is the impurity of clinging to objects. In reality, because one sees the previously unseen naked awareness in a superior way, it is called Vipassana (superior seeing). As it is said in "Space Clarity": "The essence of emptiness is the Dharmakaya, the clear form is the Sambhogakaya, the unceasing arising is the Nirmanakaya." Thus it is said. Elevating the twelfth (point) upwards and meditating on the union of Shamatha and Vipassana is: the essence of awareness is bright, not defiled by afflictive conceptual thoughts, without clinging to external appearances like a moon in water; inwardly, without clinging, like the vastness of space. In a state of profound peace, free from elaboration, like drinking nectar, experiences arise from within. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "This shore, the other shore, the edge, not dwelling in between, knowing all times as equal, is known as Prajnaparamita." Thus it is said, surpassing the great ocean of samsara, realizing the intention of the Great Perfection of self-nature, seeing a slight glimpse of the path. At that time, if one clings to the vivid experience, instead of clinging to "is," then, in reality, the experience of bliss is: not indulging in feelings with objects and entities, abiding in the radiance of the experience of emptiness, inexpressibility, and illusion, this is the cessation of suffering, a wrong path of the desire realm. Clarity is: uninterrupted in the objects of the six consciousnesses, free from clinging to reality, without external or internal objects, abiding in transparent clarity, if one clings to this, one will fall into the form realm. Non-conceptuality is: integrating all external and internal appearances into the awareness of non-conceptuality, abiding single-pointedly in an inexpressible state, at this time, if one falls into the clinging of "this is, this is not" created by conceptual thoughts, one will fall into the formless realm. Therefore, at that time, do not be distracted, meditate on the bright, vivid, and naked awareness. Please experience it in a state free from effort and practice. Sometimes, regarding the thorough cutting through of Mahamudra, if one counts the grounds and paths, one will be confused, because it is not found elsewhere. The meaning of the grounds and paths of all sutras, tantras, and instructions is the wisdom of self-arising awareness.

Therefore, it is perfected in this very moment. This unfabricated wisdom surpasses any artificial setting. The appearances of the eight consciousnesses are naturally liberated, without fabrication or artifice. Dualistic clinging is not defiled by the path, without adding or subtracting, without acceptance or rejection, abandonment or establishment, it is simply pure awareness. The eight extremes of nihilism, eternalism, etc., are naturally liberated. Whatever arises is unfabricated, transparent, beyond verbal concepts, and the mind's fabrication ceases. Whatever appears, all that is seen, is the nature of meditation, with equality and post-meditation wisdom inseparable. If we relate this to the common stages of the path: The nature of mind is not bound by clinging, and is constantly unmoving, this is the small accumulation stage. Without clinging to equanimity, and all the qualities of the post-meditation state appear as companions, this is the intermediate accumulation stage. Equality and post-meditation wisdom are both realized as inseparable, and there is no acceptance or rejection of either samsara or nirvana, this is the great accumulation stage. If we combine this with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment: In the small stage, one recognizes one's own nature in the present moment, and completely cuts off the thoughts of coming and going, this is the mindfulness of feelings. Even if the body is surrounded by a hundred executioners, one remains in the state of the seven dharmas, without moving, this is the mindfulness of the body. The mind is not fabricated, but remains in its natural state, single-pointed, this is the mindfulness of the dharma. One gains certainty in non-conceptual samadhi, and remains unmoving, this is the mindfulness of the mind. In the intermediate stage, the four right abandonments are: One's own mind abides in the great space of non-thought, and causes unborn virtuous dharmas to arise, therefore it is right abandonment. There is no distraction from this, and all of samsara and nirvana are naturally pure, therefore it is right abandonment. The virtuous dharmas that have arisen do not decline, but increase further, therefore it is right abandonment. Because there are no habitual tendencies of conceptual thought and grasping, all non-virtuous dharmas do not appear, therefore it is called right abandonment. In the great stage, the four legs of miraculous power are: The shamatha samadhi is clear and unmoving like a river of the great ocean, this is the leg of miraculous power of aspiration. Knowing that one's own luminosity and all external appearances are like illusions and reflections in water, one abides in the wisdom of non-conceptual vipashyana, this is the leg of miraculous power of analysis.
