Focus your awareness, and rest in a state of emptiness and clarity like the sky. Please practice in this way. At that time, the distractions of the mind will decrease, and the experience of the body becoming light will arise. This is called the experience of attainment. Then, sixth, look straight ahead and focus on a green dot about the size of a pea on your forehead, between your eyebrows. Keep it steady, and without stiffening your body, please practice in this way. At that time, all the coarse thoughts will gradually subside, like a river flowing slowly. The body will be light and empty, speech will be indescribably clear, and the mind will be peaceful and at ease. This is called stillness, because all the coarse thoughts have subsided. Seventh, to stabilize the naturally arising samadhi in your being, completely relax your body, speech, and mind. Stare intently at the one who creates all kinds of thoughts, and please practice in this way. Having practiced in this way, the body will be as light as cotton, the body will be comfortable and empty, speech will be clear, and the mind will be indescribably peaceful. From the depths of your heart, you will see all the thoughts that arise and remain in the present moment. If you cannot master the power of abiding, you will experience wavering. This is called bliss, clarity, and non-thought, which is a clear state of stillness. Eighth, to stabilize and enhance the small experiences that have already arisen, leave all appearances in their natural state, without artificial meditation efforts, and maintain a state of non-distraction. Please practice in this way. The flow of thoughts will cease, and the gaps of wavering will disappear. For example, just as a fish swims in a lake, or a wave merges into the ocean, abiding and wavering meet without separation. This is called the experience of meditation. Ninth, continue to practice, and just as the ocean is not stirred by the wind, a state of unwavering, continuous abiding will arise. This is called the stable experience. That unwavering, comfortable state is not meditation. Before emptiness becomes the nature of luminosity, you must establish the foundation of meditation in that indescribable clarity. As Dharmakirti said: 'Thoughts are great ignorance, the cause of falling into the ocean of samsara. By being free from thoughts, you will always be liberated.' Therefore, please practice in this way. All thoughts are naturally liberated.

When abiding clearly and manifestly in the inexpressible state, one sees the nature of single-pointedness. At that time, the teacher of attachment to bliss and clarity, who is so clear, should be established as the foundation of meditation. Tenth, do not be attached to the state of bliss and clarity, do not generate hatred towards distraction, and do not deliberately suppress mindfulness too much. Do not let the three doors wander freely in their objects, but remain in non-conceptuality. The fault of transforming conceptual thoughts into meditation is as stated in the *Heap of Jewels Sutra*: "With the wheel of conceptual thought, one wanders in the wilderness of existence, constantly creating evil deeds and afflictions, accomplishing hundreds of thousands of sufferings." Therefore, please practice in this way in a state free from expression, acceptance, rejection, grasping, and attachment. The actual single-pointedness is the experience of bliss that is blissful, clear, and non-conceptual. One does not allow awareness of any aspect of that object or the object-possessor, but remains single-pointedly in a state like the illusion of appearance and emptiness—an obscuration of the experience of cessation. The experience of clarity is that the six consciousnesses are not obstructed, but are free from the grasping of reality, and one remains without distinguishing between inner and outer objects, clarity and emptiness. The experience of non-conceptuality is that all the doors of appearance, both inner and outer, remain single-pointedly in the state of non-conceptual knowledge. Peaceful abiding, bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality are deviations. There is the stain of delusion in attachment to abiding in meditative equipoise. It is crucial that the experience of appearance and emptiness is not dominated by subsequent attainment and delusion. Eleventh, seeking the experience of higher seeing is as the words of the powerful king Padmasambhava: "Until the after-wisdom is exhausted, do not separate from the essential points of the body." As it is said, by possessing the essential points of the body, in a state where speech is without words, mind is without thought, and is inexpressible, without fabricating the mind, without following after previous and subsequent conceptual thoughts, do not modify the nature of whatever awareness arises in the present moment, but leave it on its own. As it is said in the *Treasury*: "If the water is not stirred, it is clear; if the mind is not fabricated, it is clear." Please practice in this way. At that time, when the three, clarity, awareness, and emptiness, appear as one indivisible, In the forceful utterance, whatever thoughts of good or bad arise, without engaging with them, leave them on their own. When there is movement, meditate on the nature of the mover as being nakedly itself; when there is clarity, meditate on the nature of the clarifier as being the clear emptiness itself; when there is emptiness, meditate on the nature of the emptier as being utterly empty itself. The bliss and clarity of experiential attachment do not
