It is said, 'Ineffable, unthinkable, beyond expression, the Perfection of Wisdom!' Thus it is said. In the Root Wisdom, it is said, 'Neither different nor the same.' Therefore, from the perspective of not clinging to appearances, both internal and external, it is not contrived but the vast expanse of the union of emptiness and great compassion. Understanding this point is extremely important, so please practice it accordingly. If one does not understand even a sesame seed's worth of the key points, core, and pitfalls of meditation, then proclaiming the sound of emptiness is only a seed for bad migrations. In short, single-pointedness only has the experience of empty appearance and the delusion of post-meditation. Freedom from elaboration only has the experience of clarity and emptiness, and the stain of habitual tendencies that are like illusion and dreams in post-meditation. Here, if we combine the true meaning with the five powers, then in the meaning of abiding, knowing oneself by oneself, not being touched by samsara and nirvana, and the appearance of pure and vast existence, this is the power of faith. Realizing it as one taste without changing from that, this is the power of mindfulness. Being free from the extremes of self-grasping and spontaneously accomplished, this is the power of samadhi. Having no interruption or change in that, this is the power of diligence. Recognizing self-born realization as wisdom, this is the power of wisdom. Realizing all appearances and sounds as like illusions and dreams, and seeing self-awareness nakedly, this is the vase empowerment. Expanding emptiness and great compassion inseparably, this is the wisdom of joy. From the perspective of not having even the slightest clinging to the field of appearance, the naked and clear awareness of self-awareness, in that state, all phenomena included in the two truths, realizing self-awareness as spontaneously accomplished like an illusion, since there are no other phenomena besides that, it is called illusory samadhi. As the vidyadhara Nagarjuna said: 'Apart from dependent arising, there are no other phenomena.' Likewise, 'Apart from emptiness, there are no other phenomena.' Thus it is said. In the sutra it is said: 'All phenomena arise from dependent arising, they are not permanent, they arise from conditions, meditating on the meaning of unborn, that is called samadhi.' Thus it is said. The fifteenth, increasing in one taste, is the path of freedom from elaboration, the path of single-pointedness and one taste.

Although any kind of freedom from elaboration is spoken of, it is not the ultimate, true path. Why? Because the mind, thoughts, habitual patterns, and the alaya consciousness, along with their partial impurities, are not purified. Therefore, in meditative equipoise, there is the impurity of clinging to abiding; in one-pointedness, there is the impurity of delusion; in superior seeing, there is the impurity of clinging to objects. These must be purified in sequence. As the emanation body Garab Dorje himself said: 'This awareness, without inherent existence, with its unobstructed display of self-arising appearances, all of samsara and nirvana arise as the field of the dharmakaya. The very arising is liberated in its own ground.' Therefore, face your own nature, cut through decisively, and establish yourself on the ground of liberation. Now, please leave this present awareness unbound by the coming and going of objects, and let it rest freely in its own state. At that time, the essence of your own mind is emptiness and clarity, impossible to establish, and in the field of appearances, it is extremely subtle and difficult to see. Therefore, it is crucial to rest in the spontaneously accomplished state. An experience of the inseparability of appearance and emptiness arises. If there is certainty about this, it is the wisdom stain of emptiness experience. By familiarizing yourself with this, the effortless, naturally aware, utterly clear state is the path of seeing, as you see your own face. It is the experience of the emptiness of awareness in meditative equipoise. In post-meditation, the radiance and subsequent appearances are seen with joy and delight as the nirmanakaya. Although it is the first bhumi, the Joyful One, there is the obscuration of miserliness. The sixteenth, the utterly clear and naked state, is maintained without grasping. Although meditative equipoise and post-meditation are mixed without separation, there is joy and delight in the certainty of that mixing. To that, By familiarizing yourself with the above-mentioned utterly clear state, the major and minor emotional obscurations are purified, and appearance and mind become inseparable. Although it is the second bhumi, there is the obscuration of the object to be mixed, the mixer, or broken vows. The seventeenth, self-liberation, is left naturally in its own state. On that naturally aware, utterly clear, naked state, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are realized to be of one taste, hence it is called one taste. Although this is the third bhumi, there is the obscuration of ignorance and anger. Please practice just that much. The eighteenth, because there is still the obscuration of mind, it is maintained without separating from what has been familiarized. Although there is no separation from meditation, there is a very subtle stain of ignorance. Therefore, on the utterly clear and naked state, it is maintained without separating from the fixation of distance. Awareness relies on it like a flawless crystal ball. Although it is the fourth bhumi.
