The lord of all transmissions, the ultimate of all vehicles, the essence of all dharmas, the Great Perfection, the innermost secret single cut instruction: This dharma of directly introducing the Buddha has three parts: First, the unerring preliminary practice that enters the tradition; second, the actual basis that is introduced without doubt; and third, the subsequent practice that is repeated without hope or fear. The first, the preliminary practice, is known above. The essential practice of the main part has four aspects: From the tantra: "With the four essential practices, introduce the four aspects of emptiness." As it is said, one, the view does not fall into the realm of understanding, but with the key of direct awareness, the face is presented on its own ground; two, meditation does not fall into mind-holding, but with the key of direct experience, the instruction of cutting through at one point is introduced; three, conduct does not fall into acceptance or rejection, but with the key of experience reaching its limit, the introduction of training in the liberation of skill; and four, the result does not fall into hope or fear, but with the key of bringing it to the exhaustion of limits, the introduction to the spontaneous accomplishment of the three bodies. First, the view does not fall into the realm of understanding, but with the key of direct awareness, all dharmas are presented on their own ground: The posture of the body is on a comfortable cushion, the legs are in the vajra full lotus posture, the spine is straightened, the hands are in the mudra of equipoise, and for the sake of realizing the natural state, the body should be straight without moving. The breath of speech is released, and the breath is not held in, nor is it spoken out. The breath is made slow in its own way. In order to realize the meaning of the unspoken, speech should not be spoken. The key of the mind is the way of seeing the dharmakaya, looking at the space above the eyes. In order to directly realize the nature of reality, look without distraction. There is no object to look at, but it is looking at oneself. By looking, the view that cannot be looked at is realized as the nature of unborn and unceasing space. Since all external elements arise from space, the five elements are purified in their own place, and the pristine clear sky is seen as the external mind. Since all internal afflictions and five poisons arise from one's own mind, the five poisons are purified in their own place, and the self-clear, non-grasping is realized as one's own mind. Since all appearances arise from the colors inside the five senses, all appearances are purified in emptiness, and the nature-clear is realized as the intermediate mind. Thus,
