At the time of arrival, offer the empowerment of ultimate spontaneous accomplishment to the Lama. Then, the Lama leads the disciple to a secluded place, and pleases the Lama and the assembly with a feast offering. Then, the disciple prostrates naked and stands up, joins his palms and prays thus: Emaho! All-Good Lama, Great Bliss, I pray from the state of self-luminous Dharmakaya. In the mandala of spontaneous Great Bliss, I pray for the empowerment of the Omniscient Perfect Buddha. Pray like this three times. Then, the Lama asks if he is happy: Self-liberated, spontaneous, the only child of Dharma nature, are you happy to enter the meaning of spontaneity? In the unmade, ungrasping, beyond-mind, can you keep the root of the vows? When asked like this, the disciple promises to be able to keep them. Then, the disciple is made to take a vow in this way: You have exhausted what is to be liberated and what can be grasped, the flawless Buddha, spontaneous Great Bliss, on the meaning of non-conceptual wisdom, make a firm vow. If you violate it, you yourself will be burned. In this way, the water of the nectar of vows is given. The disciple takes the vow in this way. Then, the Lama asks, "Child, who are you?" The disciple says, "I am the selfless, universal liberation." Haven't you seen the mandala of primordial spontaneity before? If you say you haven't seen it, let me show you your own body. What is your body? The disciple says, "My body is naked and transparent." Likewise, know your own awareness. Your body, in the past, present, and future, is unmade. Just as the self-existing, spontaneous, naked, and transparent body is, the nature of mind, in all times, past, present, and future, is the unmade, self-born Dharmakaya. Putting on and taking off clothes does not create a contrived sense of shame. A body without clothes has no shame in putting on or taking off clothes. Putting on clothes does not make the body better, and not wearing clothes does not make it worse. Just as the self-existing, spontaneous body is naked, the mind's appearance and emptiness, if one clings to the appearance of duality, wanting to be liberated from emptiness, one is bound by ignorance due to clinging. Appearance and emptiness, what is to be liberated and what can be liberated, are not established. If one does not cling and abides in its own nature, then the nature of mind, which is originally as it is, becomes the spontaneous three bodies, complete with qualities. From this, various forms appear, but their essence does not change into good or bad. Because there is no clarity or obscurity, clinging or conceptualization, it is the light of wisdom.
