Becoming a Bodhisattva and attaining Buddhahood, the water element is purified and abides in the nature of Mamaki (Tibetan: མཱ་མ་ཀཱི།). Anger is dissolved into mirror-like wisdom, and having obtained the immutable body of the Buddha Vajra family, one will accomplish the benefit of all beings. Thus it is said. Then, there is the speech empowerment. The student is made to meditate on red Amitabha, holding a lotus in the right hand and a bell with that (lotus) as its handle in the left hand, and on a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ) on a lotus moon above the throat. As before, contemplate the light radiating from the heart of the Lama and so on. The aggregate of perception is enlightened as Amitabha, and the element of fire is also purified into the nature of the white-clad mother. Attachment is dissolved into discriminating wisdom, and having obtained the unobstructed Dharma sound of the Buddha Padma family, one will accomplish the benefit of beings. Thus it is said. Then, there is the mind empowerment: The student visualizes blue Vairochana, holding a wheel in his hand, and on a lotus moon above his heart, a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།) and so on, the visualization is the same as before. The aggregate of consciousness is also enlightened as Vairochana, and the realm of space is also purified as the sovereign mother of the Dharmadhatu. Ignorance is dissolved into the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, and having obtained the unerring Dharmakaya of the Buddha Tathagata family, one will accomplish the benefit of beings. Thus it is said.
