Remaining in the natural state, like the mother luminosity and the child luminosity, the two merge like water into water, and in an instant they are distinguished and naturally liberated on the ground. This is for those who have a firm experience of either Chöd or Tögal. Second, the transference of wind-mind upwards: Alternatively, focus single-pointedly on the wind-mind bindu together with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none), and dissolve it into the heart of the lama through the path of Brahma, and pray that it goes to the burning mountain of fire, etc. This means that alternatively, the yogi, due to lack of realization and practice, practices the instruction of the transference of wind-mind upwards. Therefore, those who trust in it must practice diligently now so that they can use it when needed. Therefore, sit on a comfortable cushion in a posture that has the essential points of the body. First, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and do guru yoga. Visualize your own body as emptiness, free from obscurations, and in the center, the central channel is clear and transparent like an arrow shaft, straight from the crown chakra to the secret place, and in the heart, visualize the nature of the union of wind and mind as a bindu with five-colored light, marked with a white A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) the size of a small bean, shining with light, and focus your mind on it. In the rainbow of light at the crown of your head, visualize the root guru in the form of the great Jetsun Rinpoche, generate devotion and pray. Then, with whatever wind practice you can do, focus single-pointedly on the A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) in your heart, and say Phat (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal meaning: cut) with your mouth or mind, and think that it comes out of the Brahma hole at the crown of your head and dissolves into the heart of the lama, and rest there for a while. Then, visualize the bindu and the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) descending from the lama's heart, entering your heart from the Brahma hole, and then practice contracting and pushing the wind-mind, etc., going back and forth many times. When stopping, your own mind-bindu becomes inseparable from the lama's heart. Visualize the lama rising higher and higher, becoming smaller and smaller, and then disappearing, and rest in a state of no object, or visualize going to whatever pure land you wish, such as Akanishta, the burning charnel ground, etc. If there is not enough realization or if there are minor obstacles, the bindu and the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: none) remain in the heart in a comfortable, light, and heavy way, and visualize a stream of nectar descending from the lama's body, filling the entire central channel. The lama comes to the mouth of the Brahma hole, and a vajra cross and the letter Hum (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) appear.

When obstructed by the changing of the earth sign, one should have faith and also combine the Vajra recitation that combines the three syllables (oṃ āḥ hūṃ, OM AH HUM, body, speech, and mind) with the wind at appropriate times. When irreversible signs of death appear, one should combine it with activity, such as visualizing the guru on the crown of the head, etc., according to the previously practiced order, and make the mind joyful with the eagerness to go to the pure land. Visualize that the cross on the crown of the head is cleared away and that the Brahma hole is revealed. Without letting the drop at the heart fall, dissolve it into the heart of the guru. Clearly illuminate the drop in the heart again and ignite it repeatedly. When approaching transference, the guru gradually ascends higher and disappears, and one should mix and rest the awareness with the realm of primordial purity, which is free from the object and subject of transference. By doing so, one can also recognize the clear light of the bardo and attain enlightenment in the youthful vase body. Secondly, the essential instructions for the Dharmata Bardo are: Whatever appearances of the bardo may arise, one should remember the key point that awareness does not move from its own place and is unchangeable, like a golden needle. This means that if one does not gain certainty in the dying bardo, the basic appearances will move from the basis of primordial purity, and various illusory appearances of the Dharmata Bardo and the Existence Bardo will appear in sequence, and one will again take rebirth in existence. This is because the fault of not recognizing one's own nature causes awareness to lose its own strength and be controlled by objects, and illusory appearances arise like a continuous stream. Therefore, no matter what kind of appearances arise, one should determine that they are none other than the play of one's own awareness. Awareness never moves from its own place of Dharmata, and one must remember the key point of the essential instruction that it is like a golden needle whose nature cannot be changed by any circumstances. Therefore, in the Dharmata Bardo, the clear light of primordial purity is like the clear sky, and when the appearances of the five lights, such as the three sounds, lights, and rays, the mandala of the five families, the fabric and drops of the union of the four wisdoms, and the pure land appearances of the three bodies appear in sequence, one should have no fear of anything, just as when meeting people one is familiar with from the past, and determine that it is the play of self-appearing wisdom. In the first moment, recognize the self-appearance; in the second moment, abide in the recognition; and in the third moment, liberate from the abiding, benefit sentient beings, and attain enlightenment in the inner clear vase body. If one does not liberate here, the mental body of the bardo is formed, and even when one is distracted in the Existence Bardo by past habits and various inverted illusions
