Like throwing a stone into a pool of water, or like blowing air onto a bubble, initially it is just faint and blurry, then there are red and yellow bindus with surrounding circles, with two-linked and three-linked ones. Within them, awareness is as subtle as a vajra chain, like knots tied in a horse's tail, or like a necklace of gold threads and pearls, a wire mesh, a bouquet of flowers, and a net-like structure, initially faint, blurry, and trembling, sometimes appearing and sometimes disappearing, and so on. Second, the increase of experience is: rainbow lights and bindus constantly appear, and the appearance of the five lights is also like a brocade tent, with rays radiating, standing upright, etc., appearing indefinitely. Splitting from the space between the eyebrows, in the circle that pervades the field of vision, clusters appear like four-petaled lotuses surrounding them, and so on. Awareness is also like the sap of the Shara tree flowing slowly. Third, the perfection of awareness is: the appearance of the five lights fills the center of all that appears, and within the connected clusters of bindus with five surrounding circles, initially from the crown of the head and the head of the deity, etc., gradually appearing half-body images, single-body images, five-deity assemblies, etc., countless images. Awareness is like a bee circling nectar. Fourth, the exhaustion of dharmata is: the outer appearances, the inner illusory body, the secret channels and mind, and all the increasing aspects of experiential appearances are exhausted, and the body is liberated into the light body, speech is liberated into nada, and mind is liberated into the dharmakaya. Second, there are also four supports for the end. First, establishing the foundation on the three immovables is: the body does not move from the three postures, so the channels and winds naturally abide, so thoughts cease. The eyes do not move from the three ways of looking, so the clear light is directly seen, and it is free from the fabrications of the mind. The wind and awareness are slow and stable and do not move, so the dharmata abides in its own nature, so the clear light mother and child merge. Second, measuring with the three abidings is: by doing so, outer appearances abide, so bad conditions appear as helpers. The inner illusory body abides, so the activities of delusion are exhausted. The secret channels and mind abide, so it is impossible for conceptual thoughts to arise. At this time, for the best of diligence, dreams are interrupted. The intermediate can recognize dreams. For the lowest, always dreaming good dreams is measuring the limit with dreams. The body does not move, the speech does not speak, and the mind does not think, all of these are the four appearances gradually becoming more stable in sequence, which is the sign appearing on the body and speech. Third, nailing down with the three attainments is: Appearances

The qualities of the four perfections are: outer appearance, inner aggregates, secret realm of wisdom, gaining mastery over these, appearance arises as pure lands. The illusory body is liberated into clear light, and deluded thoughts naturally cease. Fourth, showing the extent of liberation through the four confidences is: For that yogi who has perfected practice, there is no hope of attaining Buddhahood upwards, nor doubt of not attaining it. Downwards, there is no hope of not being reborn in samsara, nor doubt of being born, thus gaining confidence. Second, there are two instructions for liberation in the bardo for those of intermediate faculties: the oral instruction for the upward transference of wisdom at the time of death bardo, and the oral instruction like an unchangeable golden needle for the dharmata bardo. The first also has two: the absorption of space and wisdom, and the transference of wind-mind upwards. The first is: If the supreme state is not attained in this very life, then one should transcend suffering through the union of the three skies. It is said that, although the stages described above have been well practiced, either one has not reached the end of the path due to inferior fortune, or one's diligence is small and distraction is great, so that meditation becomes incomplete, and if the supreme state of striving for the original liberation is not attained in this very life, then at the time of death bardo, when the clear light of the base and path meet, one should transcend the suffering of existence through the union of the three skies. That is, the practitioner at the time of death should completely abandon attachment to the appearances of this world. Without letting the mind turn towards that direction even for a moment, oneself or a friend should clearly remind oneself of the teachings previously heard and familiarized. With strong devotion to the lama, one should pray single-mindedly to strive for the original liberation. In conjunction with any of the three sitting postures, the outer space is extremely clear, and the inner space, a branch of the central channel, the light channel Kati, separated from the golden sun of the ocean, is connected to the eye like a crystal tube, so the eyes should be aimed at it like a spear. To this, the secret space, the self-luminous nature of reality, is instantly merged with the indestructible bindu in the center of the heart, or the awareness that unites clarity and emptiness. In short, the eyes are directed towards the sky, and the awareness is directed towards the eyes, thereby placing the three outer, inner, and secret skies in a state of non-differentiation. Or, if the practice of Tögal is stable, the eyes are directed towards the appearance of light, and the awareness is directed towards emptiness.
