It is called "Meeting." That awareness, also, by the key point of seeing related to the eyes, goes in the direction where the eyes move and is difficult to grasp. Those subtle bindus also come and go. The instruction for grasping it is that it is important to turn the eyes upward slightly. In the space between the eyebrows, a lamp called "Pure Space" appears, a vast light of deep blue, shaped like the Tibetan letter "na ro," and colored like a rainbow. It appears based on the meeting of the eyes and the radiance of the flesh. Focusing on that awareness and looking is called the "Iron Hook of Grasping," which is extremely important. This is introduced with the three words, "Do this with the body, look at the sky with awareness." Those initially introduced are called "Manifest Awareness," and are taught as "Vipassana Awareness." Now, it is very important to understand the reason for seeing it. It is also said from the support of this awareness, and much is said in the Conch Script and all other tantra commentaries, but here a few important points will be indicated. That is, the causes and conditions for the appearance of space awareness, the meaning of delusion and non-delusion, and the reason and result for it becoming practice. The first is the cause, which is twofold: from the five categories of awareness, the nature of the base is awareness, the nature of original purity, the reality is endowed with three wisdoms, the nature of self-nature compassion three, emptiness, clarity, and unobstructed reality. From another perspective, that is the Tathagatagarbha. Although it has no dualistic grasping, it is self-empty, self-clear, and self-unobstructed. Like waves in the ocean, it flows unceasingly, and from that, the part of wisdom appears as a clear appearance, and consciousness transforms into the six consciousnesses. Although the nature is non-conceptual, when it appears as dualistic, conceptual and analytical consciousness arises. That, in the common language of Dharma, is called karma arising from ignorance, and from that, consciousness arises. From this it is said: "The shimmering wisdom of delusion, from the beginning, from the pure and unerring, in the spontaneously accomplished without certainty, in the way it appears in various forms, is the unceasing play, doing anything and appearing as anything, is an uncertain appearance."

For those with wisdom, appearances are undiminished and inner clarity is present, therefore, accept it with certainty. These four lines explain the reason. That basis which abides in this way, is the seed of cause and delusion, which is lost outward in the clear part. That clear and distinct awareness, from the three kinds of ignorance, is merely the mind turning outward to the appearing part, with the mind grasping the object as self, so it is said. The three kinds of ignorance are: Co-emergent ignorance is not knowing the perfect reality as being pure from the beginning; not knowing that the light of other-dependent, moving appearances and the emptiness of appearances are inseparable, is called the ignorance of the conditioning cause of action; not knowing that the object and the subject are different, and that the habits of names and meanings imputed to external objects are unreal, thus accepting and rejecting, becoming the cause of craving, grasping, and existence, is called the ignorance of conceptual delusion. Thus, from the initial continuum being mixed with wisdom-ignorance, to the second, now, specifically, the cause of the clear appearance of space-wisdom in the eye is that, by understanding the way conditions gather, it will become manifest. The previous body appearance, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile objects, and dharmas, the six conditioned and unconditioned aspects, the six kinds of consciousness that grasp there, connect with the senses in between, those have no maker, but grasp their own characteristics, thus becoming the eighteen elements. The awareness that holds the basis, in common Dharma terminology, is called the alaya consciousness, which contains all the habits of aggregates, elements, and sources, and is called the collection of all seeds. It becomes the cause and condition, done by the six consciousnesses that grasp the condition of the owner, done by the six objects that are the condition of the object, done by the immediately preceding condition, the immediately preceding mind, that is, the moment of the gathering of the previous three. The four conditions appear as they are, without interruption, therefore what is desired is to be taken, what is not desired is to be abandoned, and what is in between is to be left alone, turning into the three poisons. Its conceptualization and appearance increase, therefore the form of the external world and the internal body, under the control of craving and grasping in any of the three realms, existence is established. In common terms, it is said to be name and form, six sources, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, and birth. From here, from the basis and the appearing part of the basis, the difference between the basis and the basis
