It is appropriate. Like this, if through the actions of body, speech, and mind, one separates from the three of samsara's body, speech, and mind, and encounters the immovable body of nirvana, the unspeakable speech, and the non-conceptual mind. Then, how should one act during the intervals of practice between sessions? In the "Extremely Unelaborate," it says: "Action itself is at the end, in order to abandon coarse habitual patterns, perform prostrations and circumambulations, mudras, and bodily actions that lead to the Dharma. In the intervals of speech, recite mantras and collections of letters, and make offerings and praises. Likewise, in the mind, practice various meditations, in order to purify coarse habitual patterns." Thus, it is said that one should separate from samsara, see nirvana, and combine the two into one taste. Some fortunate ones may also encounter the appearance of exhaustion in that very moment and be liberated. Therefore, this preliminary practice is extremely profound. Even when directly practicing awareness, if attachment and conceptualization arise towards the three of samsara's body, speech, and mind, one should do this. Now, for those faithful ones who are unable to enter into the actual practice, only the method of settling is shown, and only the meaning of distinguishing samsara and nirvana should be understood and shown. For those noble beings who are separate from the body and speech of samsara, it is permissible not to perform these actions. This is the seventh section, showing the distinction between samsara and nirvana. Then, it is said that the empowerment of the Extremely Unelaborate should be given. Then it says: "The ritual of settling, the wise should do for three days. If one has not trained beforehand, then one should train in the preliminaries that guide the mind." Thus, it is said that if it has not been shown before, then at this time, in order to make everyone understand that everything is mind itself, and in order to realize that this is the great non-elaboration, one should train the mind. Then, with the empowerment of the Extremely Unelaborate, one should enter the mandala of emptiness and give empowerment and prophecy. Then, one should practice the essential points of the body, and first of all, it is important to establish the basis in the posture of an elephant. Like an elephant, one should lie face down, with both hands' elbows planted on the ground, lifting the abdomen with the palms, bringing the knees close to the chest, lifting the neck and tilting it slightly back, and looking upwards with eyes wide open and unmoving. If one does not practice the essential points with the posture of a hermit, the body will not be stable, so one should practice with the posture of a hermit.

Like the crow posture, the body squats, the two ankles are close together, the knees are close to the abdomen, and the abdomen is also slightly close to the back. The two elbows are propped on the knees, the head is placed on the knees, and the two palms are lifted from the cheeks and kept still. The way of viewing is to keep the eyes still and stare straight at the space between the eyebrows. If you don't practice the lion posture, it will be difficult to increase wisdom. Like the lion posture, squat, the two knees are propped on the ground, slightly spread outwards, the two hands are propped on the ground outside the knees, slightly spread outwards, the body is slightly relaxed, the hips are slightly protruding outwards, the spine is straight, and the neck is tilted back. The way of viewing is to look slightly forward with the eyes, aiming at the distance of four fingers. At these times, the body should not move, and the breathing should be very slow. These are the practice of the three body postures, the three ways of viewing the eyes, and the fixing with three immobilities. If you feel bored, you can adopt the vulture posture, the vajra posture, or any other comfortable posture that is not these. There are also four ways of viewing: "lion, elephant, rabbit, and straight like an arrow," as stated in 《Dung Yig Can》. In short, it is very important to view in a non-conceptual way. If you practice like this for many days, you may be able to directly realize without introduction. The instruction of body posture and viewing method, this is the eighth section. Then, I will introduce the method of seeing the meaning of no-birth with three words: When the sky is free of clouds, go to a very secluded place, concentrate the mind on the eyes, look towards the sun with the above-mentioned viewing method, so that in the sky, the self-nature of consciousness is called Vajra Chain Diamond Chain), as subtle as knots tied on a horse's tail, with bright spots the size of mustard seeds in between. Looking at it for a long time, light spots filling the sky will appear, some single, some double, etc., countless. This is the Dharmakaya and the single light spot, called the oral instruction of the union of body, speech, and mind. Face to face with the Buddha
