Knowing myself as the Dharmakaya, There is no newly arising fruit to be obtained. If you know there is no increase or decrease in the nature of mind, You don't need to seek meditation even if meditation has not arisen. If you know that good deeds and bad deeds are sudden, Then even if the samaya is broken, confession is the best. How it appears is how it is true. How it is labeled is how it is not. How it is sought is how it is flawed. How it is sought is how it is separated. In whatever places, When clarity free from concepts arises, At that time, do not think about it. That is meditating on emptiness. Saying, "Meditate on self-awareness, non-duality," Even if someone receives instructions, If they have not experienced non-duality itself, Pointing out a person is just an empty name. The nature of mind is like a clear ocean, Realize that sudden events are like waves. The nature of mind is like empty space, Consider sudden events to be like clouds. Meditate on spontaneous accomplishment, which is beyond meditation. In the king of experiential meditation, The stain of thoughts is naturally empty. Direct perception is the very seeing, It is clear that it is the appearance of what is to be known. When all thoughts cease, And when all obscurations are abandoned, Rest in the nature of non-conceptual wisdom. That itself is meditation without meditation. In the absence of conceptualization, Do not impose the label "absence of conceptualization." Since things are primordially non-dual, Do not even think "non-dual." In the great bliss free from exaggeration, It is a mistake to think, "It is free." In the experience of clear light purity, Do not boast, "It is pure." When abiding without arrogance, Thoughts will cease on their own. Saying "self" for dharma and person, Is the very nature of thought, If you know that the nature of thought is clear light, Then it will cease from that very moment. When a yogi looks inward, There is no experience other than the mind. Cyclic existence, permanence and impermanence, There is no negation or establishment. If you know that mind is also wisdom, There is no need to point out nirvana. If attachment and aversion arise, Then the antidotes are unattractiveness, love, etc. Do not hold two minds in the minds of beings. Just as various clouds, dissolve into the expanse of the sky, At first, clear light is sudden, Later, when its own nature ceases, For whom should those antidotes be meditated upon? Due to the habitual patterns of ignorance and delusion, The mind appears like an illusion, Like an unskilled person embellishing an illusion, Meditating on antidotes is a mistake.

Emaho! Since the nature of mind is clear light, If it is impermanent at the time of birth, how can it suddenly become pure? Therefore, do not meditate on antidotes, And do not meditate on the absence of antidotes. The yogi who does not cling to characteristics Does not think that this and that are contradictory. Since the practice itself is also without obstruction, It is like space because it does not create. Samadhi arising from conceptualization is flawed, And the thought of not creating does not arise either. If you continuously maintain the direct, free from conceptualization, It is called meditation. Since non-conceptualization arises from the beginning, Eliminating imputation is meditation. Since there is no imputation, there is nothing to eliminate. If uncreated, self-luminous awareness does not arise, Even if you forcefully meditate on non-thought, That very non-thought is the cause of obscuration. For example, if medicine is not digested, It becomes heavier than the disease itself. Therefore, if you naturally realize the mind itself, Effortlessly cut off imputations in meditation. Knowing that illusion is like a water moon, without reality, saying "emptiness" does not confuse the mind. If you realize the nature of mind as appearance and emptiness, Compassion will naturally arise for all beings. Even without differentiating between self and others, If the mind like a water moon arises, That is called meditating on great bliss. If you interrupt with conceptualization, The joy and bliss of samadhi will be lost, In the realm of the four mudras, The sensation of bliss will arise. Since the power of the venerable one's realization is firm, Conceptual thoughts will not arise. Therefore, in that bliss of samadhi, The yogi places his mind, And meditates on non-dual great bliss. When the mind abides in the bliss of samadhi, That is calm abiding. Even if joy, supreme joy, Coemergent joy, and extraordinary joy arise, They do not go beyond the mind of calm abiding, They are merely the bliss of body and mind. If sealed with the meaning of great bliss, It becomes extraordinary insight. Whatever establishes emptiness In the nature of bliss, Thinking it is coemergent joy, That is the path of subsequent inference meditation. The yoga of individual discrimination, Without the name of great bliss, From the clear light of great bliss, Know joy and bliss as waves. That is meditating on emptiness. Whatever is joy and mental joy, If you know its nature is empty, Then logic and so on are meaningless. When the water becomes clear, The fish quickly
