To the water fierce cloud and water scattering great cloud, I and all the Naga races take refuge. Sugata great water portion cloud, great cloud filling the ocean and clouds all covering. Thus gone one cloud form infinite, I and all the Naga races take refuge. Buddha great cloud, perfectly accomplishing cloud's auspiciousness, glory light ray's source cloud's, to the one with light and Naga king, I and all the Naga races take refuge. Naga race's lamp Shakyamuni and, Naga's king Buddha Bhagavan. To the sacred Dharma and noble Sangha, I and all the Naga races take refuge. Nagas and earth lords, headed by all sentient beings, are my parents of many lifetimes, experiencing the suffering of samsara, how pitiful. All the suffering and, all the sins and obscurations of Nagas and earth lords dissolve into me, may Nagas and earth lords be free from suffering. Whatever merit and happiness I have, may it dissolve into the Nagas and earth lords, may Nagas and earth lords arise with happiness. Thus, through the power of cultivating loving-kindness and compassion, may all the diseases and sufferings of the Nagas be removed, and may they cause rain to fall when it is needed.
