The right hand holds a lotus rosary, the left hand holds a nectar vase, upon a sun and moon lotus seat, standing with both feet straight, without ornaments, with a smiling face, bestowing empowerment upon you, the fortunate one, may you completely perfect the divine empowerment upon your body. You, the disciple with karma and fortune, I, the Vajra Master, bestow upon you the complete empowerment of Great Compassion, may you awaken as the essence of the five bodies and five wisdoms of Great Compassion, and completely uproot samsara. From the heart of the compassionate Avalokiteśvara, emanated a red radiant rosary of mantras. Appeared as seven self-arisen letters. The six-syllable mantra purifies the obscurations of the six realms. With this essence of the Buddhas of the three times, you, the fortunate one, receive empowerment. Having accomplished the speech of the Buddhas of the three times, may you gain the power to liberate from the depths of samsara! You, the disciple endowed with karma and fortune, by bestowing the empowerment of the seven letters of speech, may you accomplish the speech of all the Sugatas and realize perfect enlightenment in the state of indivisible sound and emptiness! There is no need to seek it from elsewhere. The Dharmakaya is unborn. By empowering the fortunate son of the lineage, the self-arisen awareness is the self-illuminating Dharmakaya. May you gain the power to liberate from the depths of samsara! Awareness is stainless like crystal. Clear and without obscuration like crystal. Although various appearances arise, the base and luster of the crystal are transformed by other colors. However, its essence never departs from the crystal. Likewise, one's own awareness, the mind of enlightenment, never departs from great compassion. Thus, introduce the inseparability of body, appearance, and emptiness; the inseparability of speech, sound, and emptiness; and the inseparability of mind, awareness, and emptiness. Third, the common empowerments are: the empowerment of the torma and the empowerment of the oral instructions. First, the empowerment of the torma: Place it on the crown of the disciple's head. The torma vessel is a precious celestial palace. The torma is the five desirable qualities. Invite and establish the yidam deity. You, the fortunate one, receive empowerment. May the yidam liberate from samsara. May you gain the complete empowerment of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities!
