In the south of the supreme mountain, in the depths of the radiant lake, that frog-headed, blood-eyed Naga woman sits on a throne of white tortoise. She wears a cloak of dark blue water silk. Her two hands hold snake lassos and skull blood. From her mouth, she cries out to her son. The land of humans is full of strife, filth, and many shadows. The Nagas are wary of impurity and shadows. Quickly come to your abode! Without transgressing the mother's command, it is hoped that you will depart to the depths of the ocean. Great ascetic, listen again. This evil deed called "human"—its form is ugly, like a preta. Its inside is unclean, filled with substances. From all its orifices, foul vomit drips. Its smell is unpleasant and unappealing. Do not be attached to this. Take a ransom better than a human, and depart peacefully to your own abode. A torma mountain of sacred substances, a beautiful lotus flower garden, clouds of fragrant incense, and the bestower of soothing and pleasant unguent incense, the three whites, the three sweets, and a lake of medicine, a great lamp blazing with a thousand rays, food and drink of red flesh and blood, and life ransoms such as Rahu and Rahu sheep, are offered to the planetary demons and their retinue. The patron of wealth and offerings, and whatever blood feud the ascetic may have, today we reconcile and settle. If you do not accept this offered ransom, I will unjustly threaten you. According to the command of the three families of wrathful deities, take the ransom torma and leave quickly. If you transgress the command of the Sugata, the wrathful Yaksha Great Blaze will draw your heart's blood from within you, cut you with the spokes of the fierce wheel, strike you fiercely with the vajra club, and undoubtedly destroy you into dust. Therefore, without transgressing the oath, take this appropriate ransom torma, release this person, and free this disease. Draw out the poisonous arrow of malice, and Great All-Pervading One, depart to your abode. Great ascetic, depart to your abode. Now depart to the father's land! Now depart to the mother's land! Eight planets, now depart to your own abode! Attendant retinues, eight classes, now depart to your own abode!
