May all be subdued! May the ten guardians of the directions, together with their retinues, cause the three realms of space to be filled with dense clouds and mists! You, the eight great nagas, together with your retinues, also cause a great rain to fall in this Jambudvipa and in this region and place called so-and-so! Fall quickly! Fall fiercely! Increase the crops, fruits, grains, and nutrients abundantly! May all these regions and kingdoms flourish with auspiciousness, prosperity, and wealth! Thus, it is entrusted. Various naga medicines and various grains, silks, precious jewels, the three white substances, the three sweet substances, and flour, as well as meat, alcohol, garlic, and other impure substances, remove the impurities, make one hundred and eight pills, put them in a vessel of precious jewels, not of iron or other violent substances, place them on a mandala, and recite this mantra one hundred and eight times for each pill: Om Naga Kala Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་ནཱ་ག་ཀཱ་ལ་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ nāga kāla hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Om Naga Kala Hum)! After reciting the mantra the required number of times, pour the pills into the spring, and rain will surely fall, without a doubt. Very profound! Ati! The second general meaning is fierce rainmaking: Furthermore, the five wild substances to be collected are: musk, aconite, bear bile, antelope blood, and the uterine blood of a widow. Grind these equally into a fine powder, make pills, put them in a bamboo tube or horn, seal the opening with lime, tie it with yak hair thread in a cross shape, press it between a drawing of Mount Meru and the four continents and a vajra cross, and bury it deep in the spring. Then, generate samadhi: With the pride of being clear as the fierce Hayagriva, Vajrapani, and Garuda, recite this mantra to subdue nagas and fierce ones: Thum Thum (藏文：ཐུཾ་ཐུཾ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：thuṃ thuṃ，汉语字面意思：Thum Thum)! Chem Chem (藏文：ཆེམ་ཆེམ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：chem chem，汉语字面意思：Chem Chem)! Vajra Kha Bhir Chada (藏文：བཛྲ་ཁ་བྱིར་ཆད，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：vajra kha bhir chada，汉语字面意思：Vajra Kha Bhir Chada)! By reciting the samadhi fiercely without distraction, fierce rain will surely fall after three days. Then, take out the substances, and in the place where they were, offer many naga tormas, offer various naga medicines and naga offerings, and make various prayers, and confess to the nagas. Profound! Ati! The third general meaning is the ritual for extremely fierce rainmaking: The substances are: inside an ominous skull, collect as much meat, blood, heart, and poison as can be found, and burn incense, and with the pride of being the deity, recite the fierce mantra Ram without distraction.
