Clearly manifest these deities with their respective attire without confusion. Below, in the steps of Mount Meru: To the east are the six peaceful activity lords: Brahma, reddish-yellow, snake-faced, holding a lotus; Great God, white-green, leopard-faced, holding a trident; Greedy One, blue, monkey-faced, holding a Dharma wheel; Youth, red, bear-faced, holding a short spear; Vajra, yellow, bat-faced, holding a razor; Peaceful One, reddish-yellow, crocodile-faced, holding a vase. From the north are the six wrathful activity lords: Fire Woman, reddish-gray, hawk-faced, holding a mirror; Big Nose, greenish-black, elephant holding a skull cup with blood; Water God, greenish-blue, vajra snake lasso; Pig Woman, black, pig-faced, holding a tusk lasso; Vajra, yellowish-black, garuda-faced, holding an intestine lasso; Vajra, yellow, goat-faced, holding a bhandha. Thus, the twenty-eight lords manifest clearly with their respective body colors and hand implements without confusion. Below, on the three levels are the World-Protecting Mothers, etc., and the twelve Yamas, clearly appearing as the matriarchal lineage. bhyaḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, भ्यो, Romanized Sanskrit, bhyah, literal Chinese meaning: exclamation).
