Now, in order to properly protect the sequence of vows as stated in the instructions, please repeat after me: HO! Lama, Protector, please consider! From now until the essence of enlightenment, The vows and precepts of individual liberation, bodhisattva, and secret mantra, I will uphold completely. (Repeat three times) The teacher places the vajra on the head. If you transgress the secret vows, In this life it will be unfavorable, and you will fall into hell. By diligently protecting the vows, All accomplishments will be achieved thereby. Repeat this, and drink the oath water and throw the vajra, to show that you will not transgress the vows and precepts as instructed. When offering the inner offering, say "Idan nara kana." Then, because the wisdom being is to be invoked, please straighten your body. Bind the winds into the central channel. Do not let your mind wander elsewhere, but meditate single-pointedly on this visualization. Light radiates from the teacher's heart. Striking the student, it purifies the gross body and transforms into a mass of blue light. From that, in the center of a vast palace playing in the charnel ground, on a lotus and sun seat, a curved knife arises from HUNG (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽), marked with HUNG (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽). From this complete transformation, you are the glorious wisdom protector Legden Nagpo, in the form of a Vajra Rakshasa, With a dark blue-black face, one face and two arms. Mouth open, tongue rolled, baring fangs and gnashing teeth. Three eyes glaring, looking in all ten directions. The beard and eyebrows are dark brown, radiating light like great stars. The hair is thick like great darkness, the right hand holds a burning curved knife, and the left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood at the heart. In the right armpit, a great garuda is nailed, from the upper part of the body emanate the armies of gods, and from the lower part of the body emanate the armies of demons as messengers. The body is adorned with layers of black silk cloaks, and a golden belt inlaid with jewels is tied around the waist. Adorned with a crown of five dry skulls, a necklace of fifty fresh skulls, and a vajra necklace. Decorated with snakes and human skin, and all the terrifying ornaments of the charnel ground. Vigorously combine the sounds of musical instruments and recite: OM SHRI MAHAKALA E AH RALLI HRING (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཨེ་ཨཱ་རལླི་ཧྲིང་༔，梵文天城体：ॐ श्रीमहाकाल ए आ रल्लि ह्रीं，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ śrīmahākāla e ā ralli hrīṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, glorious, Mahakala, E, Ah, Ralli, Hring). In this way, generate the aspiration that the stream of blessings that descends in this way is thoroughly established in the three doors. Say: TISHTA VAJRA (藏文：ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ༔，梵文天城体：तिष्ठ वज्र，梵文罗马拟音：tiṣṭha vajra，汉语字面意思：Stay, Vajra), and place the vajra on your head. Generate the aspiration that the flower that was given earlier will fall on the deity of the lineage that was previously connected by karma, and throw the flower while repeating these words. HO! Wisdom has neither good nor bad. By the karma of previous connections, may the chosen flower fall on the protector made of wisdom. PUSHPE PRATICCHA HO (藏文：པུཥྤེ་པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་ཧོ༔，梵文天城体：पुष्पे प्रतीच्छ हो，梵文罗马拟音：puṣpe pratīccha ho，汉语字面意思：Flower, receive, ho)! Let it be thrown into the center of the mandala. To the name of the lineage or just in general, the master of the mandala has fallen on your flower, take the name Glorious Heruka Vajra Black Great as a secret name. Say this and place the flower on your head. Think that the veil of ignorance is removed along with the blindfold. HO! The veils of ignorance and delusion, may they be separated by the means of compassion. This mandala of Mahakala, just by seeing it, one attains accomplishment. In this way, even the mandala of the protector is complete in one's own mind. In this way, remove the mask. Think that the mandala of the glorious wisdom protector, the lord of the well-endowed assembly, together with the support and the supported, is seen directly, and generate faith and joy. In this way, the preliminary entry sequence is completed. Offer a mandala as the cause for requesting the actual empowerments. Also, there are the four upper tantra empowerments related to supreme accomplishment, the subsequent permission of the fierce lower tantra for the sake of accomplishing activities, and the blessings of the final torma. First, purify the obscurations of the three doors equally, and the vessel for meditating on the four paths.
