Furthermore, it is said, "Demons and the demon of pride are all included in the demon of pride." In short, in all activities such as eating, sleeping, walking, etc., whatever clinging arises, recite "PHAṬ" (Tibetan, Devanagari phaṭ, Romanized Sanskrit phaṭ, meaning "to cut through") with sound, or whisper it in a crowd. Do not consider whether what arises is good or bad, but cut it off completely in its own place, and then rest comfortably, clearly, warmly, and noisily in the expanse of the mother-meaning free from elaboration, naked, still, clear, and relaxed, separating the mind of practice from it. As it is said in the "Limbs": "All demons are cut off in the mind, the mind is liberated in the unborn realm." If you always maintain this, and if the previous practice has improved, then that is the standard. Thirdly, the subsequent guidance is, as it is said in the "Limbs": "Go to a dangerous place and relax awareness, when encountering obstacles, transform them into experience, from elsewhere plant the seeds for future times, here it is manifest." Just like this, whenever negative circumstances arise, cut them off like hail pounding the ground, thereby equalizing the feeling and transforming it into the path, thereby forcibly generating special experiences and realizations. The guidance for cultivating experiences and enhancing progress is divided into three parts: where to go, when to go, and how to go; how to transform it into experience after going; and the final standard and limit. The first part is divided into three points: the characteristics of the place to go; the specific timing of when to go; and the four ways of conduct of a yogi. The first point is: in the "Mirror of Geomancy," it is said that there are three types: substance, form, and indefinite. Substance refers to, if that place is like a burning jewel, then sleep in the center of it, etc. Form refers to, if it is like a lion, then sleep on its claws, etc. Indefinite refers to, forests that are sparse or dense, rough or smooth, etc., these are confused and indefinite. You must carefully observe and know it correctly. Moreover, it must be a place that others call dangerous, and especially a place that you yourself, when you look at it, naturally feel fear, goosebumps, dread, terror, hesitation, and can generate discursive thoughts. If there is none of these, then there is nothing to cut off. Therefore, you should go to a place that makes you feel goosebumps just by arriving, such as a cemetery, a dilapidated temple, or an old, rotten mountain, etc. As it is said in the "Profound Meaning": "Cemeteries, empty places, temples, solitary trees, empty houses, etc., sleep in a place where your own mind feels fear, dread, and anxiety."

Thus it is. Second, the distinction of when to go is: In general, practice when there is fear and dread, when feeling timid and shy, and when illness and suffering arise. In particular, go at night in the darkness without relying on companions or tools. During the day, wherever you go, there is no fear, and if you have companions, you can go at any time. You can go anywhere because there is no fear, so there is no need to cut off any situation. At night, when it is frightening, spirits gather and delusions can easily arise, so one should go. As it says in the Profound Meaning: "At night, when it is frightening, spirits gather and delusions arise. It should be done when cutting off doubts, eliminating obstacles, and increasing strength." Thus it is. The way to go to that place is not for the sake of anger, competition, old age, boasting, arrogance, fame, gain, acquisition, or respect, but rather to generate great faith of renunciation. Thinking that one should go in order to cut off the delusion of not realizing that all dharmas are naturally pure. Before going, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and pray intensely before going. Third, the four ways of a yogi's going are: the hero's powerful gait, the dakini's dance gait, the black snake's coiled gait, and the yogi's soaring gait. The first is to think of driving away the spirits within sight and walk with the majestic posture of a hero. The second is the dakini's dance gait, repeatedly dissolving all the spirits into one's own body and walking. The third is the black snake's coiled gait, imagining carrying all the earth lords, nagas, and fierce deities, along with their dwellings, to the fierce place and walking. The fourth is the yogi's soaring gait, oppressing all the spirits above and below the path with one's gaze and walking. As it says in the Precious Garland: "If you do not suppress the former before, it is like a bird lost to an evil enemy. If you do not suppress the middle in the middle, it is like a weapon lost from the hand of a hero. If you do not suppress the latter behind, it is like evil wealth chasing after the outside." Therefore, when going to a fierce place, focusing your mind on that place and focusing on the object of suppression with power is the first suppression. Arriving at the fierce place and immediately focusing on the suppression of power is the middle suppression. To another place
