When lost in evil paths, When adverse conditions arise as friends, Pray (གསོལ་བ, Devanagari: , IAST: , Literal meaning: Prayer). When mastering emptiness and compassion, When accomplishing the two benefits of self and others, Pray (གསོལ་བ, Devanagari: , IAST: , Literal meaning: Prayer). Bless us right now, Bless us swiftly, Bless us in this place of dwelling (འདུག་ས་འདི་རུ, Devanagari: , IAST: , Literal meaning: In this place of dwelling) Bless us on this seat. Having prayed with single-pointed devotion, finally gather all the root and lineage gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Yidams, Dharma Protectors, and all the sacred Dharma into the main deity, the Great Mother. Thinking of her as the embodiment of all refuges, visualize Om (ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओम्, IAST: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) at the forehead, Ah (ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, IAST: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) at the throat, and Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, IAST: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) at the heart. Then, by uttering Phat (ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट्, IAST: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phat), white light emanates from the Om (ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओम्, IAST: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) at the forehead, dissolving into the foreheads of oneself and all sentient beings, purifying the sins and obscurations of the body, and thinking of receiving the blessings of the body. Similarly, red light emanates from the Ah (ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, IAST: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) at the throat, dissolving into the throat, purifying the sins and obscurations of speech, and thinking of receiving the blessings of speech. From the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, IAST: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) at the heart, blue light emanates, dissolving into the heart, purifying the sins and obscurations of the mind, and thinking of receiving the blessings of the mind. Then, the Great Mother comes directly above one's crown, dissolves into light, and dissolves into oneself, believing that the three doors are inseparable from the body, speech, and mind of the Guru, relaxing for a moment in a state of non-contrivance, dedicating the merit, and resting a little. Repeat and meditate in this way again and again. Furthermore, for those four preliminary practices, first divide each visualization into detail and meditate in sequence. Once somewhat proficient, practice taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta in the morning, meditation and recitation at noon, accumulating merit in the afternoon, and Guru Yoga in the evening, training according to one's experience until it is accomplished. Furthermore, for those who wish to pacify demonic obstacles, increase life and prosperity, gather retinues and possessions, realize emptiness, and cut arrogance, they should meditate in accordance with the body color of Machig's four activities and pray, and the oral instructions and transformations should be learned from others. The second part is the main practice: Although the previous instruction manuals divided it into nine sections, here it is condensed into two for the sake of easy explanation by the Lama and easy understanding by the disciples: Introducing the meaning of the Mother, and cutting the four Maras in the Dharmadhatu. The first part, introducing the meaning of the Mother, has three parts: Relying on pure awareness to

Guidance: Instructions on how to integrate and settle, Introduced based on opening the door of the sky. Firstly, what is the reason for wandering in the realm of samsara in the past and experiencing various kinds of happiness and suffering? It is due to the delusion of one's own mind. The deluded mind is wavering, scattered, frivolous, not remembering what should be remembered, remembering what should not be remembered, various thoughts arise and are experienced. If the root of this is not completely severed, there is no way, so it must be severed. The reason for this is that no matter how skilled a craftsman is, if there are no materials, he cannot create anything. Similarly, even if the lama is knowledgeable in Dharma, the instructions are profound, and the introduction is exquisite, if the student does not seek his own mind, the lama cannot introduce it. Therefore, one must seek one's own mind. The method of seeking is, starting from tonight, until the nature of the mind is realized, do not engage in too many coarse activities. The body should be settled in the seven postures of Vairochana. Speech should be left in natural breathing. The key point of the mind is to condense these three sentences and practice them. Where does the mind reside? Observe, this is one. How does the form reside? Observe, this is two. What is the color like? Observe, this is three. Firstly, the mind does not arise what should arise, arises what should not arise, and various thoughts arise. From the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, search in which part of the body it resides. That thought that suddenly arises, from where does it arise? Where does it reside now? Where does it ultimately dissolve? Observe by tracing back. Secondly, observing how the form resides means that the creator of all things such as liking and disliking, happiness and suffering is the mind itself. Observe its shape, whether it is square, round, or some other shape. Thirdly, observing the color means that various thoughts arise and radiate, which is a sign that the mind has substance. If there is no substance, these thoughts will not arise. Therefore, observe the color, whether it is white, red, or some other color. Moreover, look up and look down. Trace forward and trace backward. Observe with pure awareness. After observing in this way, if the mind is not seen, then when wavering and frivolous thoughts arise, do not be distracted, continue to observe. Observe where that mover is and what it looks like. You observe the mind, but you do not see it. You search, but you do not find it. You try to grasp it, but you do not grasp it. If you think like this, then in the state of not seeing, not finding, and not grasping, do not think anything, do not conceptualize anything. Do not make any adjustments, relax and settle comfortably, like resting a broken rope. If thoughts suddenly arise again, then observe and settle each time they arise. Now, samsara
