This should be done. Moreover, not at a later time, but right now, one should begin to put it into practice. One should make such a vow, and practice should not contradict the vow, and one should begin to put it into practice immediately to the best of one's ability. Generating Bodhicitta is also divided into two types: initially receiving it from a teacher or a support, or receiving it through self-empowered contemplation. Here, according to the latter method, in the space in front, visualize the Guru Jetsun Arya Tara, surrounded by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, manifestly residing in front. Think in your heart: For the benefit of all sentient beings, I will generate the supreme Bodhicitta, which has the nature of aspiration and engagement. Recite in your mouth: (Tibetan) Ho! All sentient beings who have been my mothers, in order to attain the state of Buddhahood, I will abandon all misdeeds, accumulate all virtues, and constantly generate altruistic Bodhicitta! Recite this many times. Finally, meditate in a state free from the elaboration of the three spheres, so that the seal of ultimate truth will be placed on the conventional truth. Secondly, learning the precepts is divided into two points: general explanation and detailed explanation. The first point is: After generating the Bodhicitta of engagement, one must learn its precepts. All the precepts are summarized into the three higher trainings, as stated in the "Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment": "Having taken the vow of entering the Bodhisattva path, one should diligently study all the vows, and always cherish the three vows." As it is said, one must study the three trainings of higher discipline, higher concentration, and higher wisdom. Among them, discipline is the three of the six perfections: generosity, discipline, and patience. Concentration is the training of the mind, wisdom is the training of wisdom, and diligence is the companion of all of these, as stated in the "Ornament of the Sutras": "Having mastered the three trainings, the Victorious Ones have well explained the six perfections, the first three and the last two, two kinds, one also belongs to all three." As it is said. These six perfections completely encompass all the Bodhisattva practices for attaining Buddhahood, as stated in the "Sutra Requested by Good Arm": "Good Arm, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, in order to quickly realize complete enlightenment, should constantly and continuously perfect these six perfections." As it is said. This is actually important.

In short, both higher rebirth and definite goodness are certain, and their cause is the complete six perfections. For the sake of higher rebirth, one should practice generosity of wealth; for the sake of the body, one should maintain ethical discipline; for the sake of retinue, one should practice patience; for the sake of definite goodness, one should practice diligence, as the cause of increasing qualities; the cause of tranquility is meditative concentration; the cause of insight is wisdom. These are also taught in order, with the easier to enter and coarser ones first, and the more difficult to enter and finer ones later. Therefore, in order to attain Buddhahood through the path of higher rebirth and definite goodness, I will gradually enter the easier and more difficult parts of the six perfections, I vow. If these are summarized, they can also be included in the two accumulations: generosity and ethical discipline are the accumulation of merit, wisdom is the accumulation of wisdom, and the other three belong to both accumulations. Each perfection has four characteristics: causing its respective opposing factors to decline, generating non-conceptual wisdom, fulfilling desires, and ripening sentient beings. If the five perfections, such as generosity, are not grasped by profound wisdom that completely purifies the three spheres, they will not become the cause of Buddhahood. If grasped by pure wisdom, they will be included in the count of "paramitas" and will attain the state of omniscient Buddhahood. As the Compendium says: "Blind people without a guide, hundreds of thousands of millions, cannot even know the way, how can they enter the city? Without wisdom, like a blind person, these five perfections, without a guide, cannot attain enlightenment." Therefore, whatever one practices, such as generosity, should be grasped by the three superiorities of preliminary, actual, and subsequent, and especially by immaculate wisdom free from the three spheres of elaboration. For the benefit of all sentient beings, I will continuously practice the six perfections, which are summarized by the two accumulations, have four characteristics, are free from the three spheres of focus, and are like illusions, without interruption, I think, and practice accordingly. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into three parts: briefly explaining the first four perfections, and explaining meditative concentration and wisdom separately. The first part is: Thus entering the training of generating the mind of enlightenment, the first of the six perfections, generosity, is divided into three. Material generosity is: food, clothing, wealth.
